Zabyrinthdichtungseinrichtung.
Die Büchse a ist, wie erwähnt, nicht starr auf der Welle befestigt, und zwar wird sie an dem einen Ende von .dem dieses Ende um- f < < #;enden Ringflansch c .einer auf die \Delle aufgeschraubten -Mutter d gehalten, während sie iim andern Ende durch vier um 90';

Zabyrinth sealing device. The present invention is a labyrinth sealing device with two sets of sharp-edged annular ribs, one of which is carried by a shaft and the other set of a machine housing.
According to the invention, the ganten of the ribs of one set are arranged in .dense proximity to the edges of the ribs of the other set and each rib has a large, from the leaking medium compared with the relatively small areas of the rib edges between which contact could take place coated area, so that the heat generated by accidental contact between the ganten of the respective ribs during operation of the machine is easily transferred to the leaking medium through the large area of the ribs.
The drawing illustrates several exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
Fi-. Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of a first example; Fig. 2 is a section through the ZV elle and a rifle seated on it, and Figs. 3 to 6 show further examples.
a (Fig. 1) denotes a sleeve that is not rigidly attached to the shaft and b a sleeve that is not rigidly attached to the housing. The sleeve a is provided with sharp-edged, annular ribs c, while the sleeve b is provided with similar, sharp-edged ribs c '. There are small gaps between the edges of the opposing ribs c and ei.
The ribs c and c 'are dimensioned so that their total area is very large compared to the area of the sharp ganten. It can therefore only touch the sharp ganten of a relatively small area and as a result of the water very small contact area only a small amount of heat is generated, which is dispersed on the relatively large areas of the ribs.
The bushing a is, as mentioned, not rigidly attached to the shaft, namely it is held at one end by the ring flange c. A nut d screwed onto the dent, while at the other end by four at 90 ';
protruding supplements (Iig.?) are connected to the skin. These Beila.geii secure the bushing against rotation on the shaft. The sleeve a can expand completely freely in the radial direction, while its ixe always coincides with the axis of the shaft.
The sleeve ca is also at one end by honor nut g, which is screwed onto the shaft and with an inwardly directed ge, give an annular flange i of the sleeve ca rest l-eil annular flange h. is provided, immovably connected to the shaft in the longitudinal direction.
A certain amount of play j is provided between the nut d, as well as its flange e and your anlieend.en end of the bushing cc, so that it is narrow in the longitudinal direction from the annular flange h, in accordance with the different temperatures of the bushing and the shaft can expand.
With this device, considered as a whole, the l ') iielise aa has a free deflection: it is in the radial and axial direction, whatever the temperature of the shaft.
The stationary sleeve b is in two parts and is also not rigidly connected to the housing. At each end it has an annular flange 1c with an inwardly directed annular projection 1 which engages over a ring projection i, a of the housing. This way we: l the bushing b is fixed concentrically to the housing, to the shaft and also to the bushing a.
In the bus rotations of the housing, elatisclie rings are embedded, which exert a concentric pressure on the. Exercise sleeve b. So that the rings cannot fall out of the bus turns of the housing, they are held back by cover shields that have not been drawn.
Usually, the fixed sleeve has reached a higher temperature than the (-reliäuse 1) and expands more.
When expanding in a radial direction, the rings 3a are compressed; .because these are designed uniformly all around.
so the fixed sleeve b remains concentric. while
