Fig. 3n zeigi:
Cone connection with union nut. The invention relates to a conical connection with a union nut. The previously known cone connections of this type have the disadvantage that after loosening the nut, the two nested bodies fit together so tightly that they can only be separated with difficulty, the tighter the cone, the more so.
In order to remedy this disadvantage, according to the present invention, the cone is provided with a collar and is pressed onto its conical seat by a union nut which, when unscrewed, presses the cone 1 loose by means of the collar.
The drawing shows various exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention in longitudinal sections. Fig. 1 shows a drill chuck, Fig. La an associated snap ring, F ig. 2 the arrangement of such a chuck on a machine spindle, FIG. 3 a milling cutter on a machine spindle,
Fig. 3a in turn shows a snap ring, while Fig. 4 and 4a show a white teres clamping chuck in two different positions. According to Fig. 1, in the chuck body 1, which has a shank at the rear and a conical seat at the front, a corresponding conical sleeve 2, which is used to receive the drill and is provided with a collar at the front, over which a Überwnrlmutter 3 engages the chuck body 1 is screwed to clamp the sleeve 2 in the seat of the chuck body. A snap ring 4 is inserted into an annular groove 5 in the nut which rests against the underside of the Bun of the sleeve.
First, the sleeve 2 is inserted into the union nut 3 and then the snap ring 4 is inserted into the groove 5 of the nut, which now rests against the collar of the sleeve 2. The latter is then inserted into the conical seat .des Futterkör pers 1 and the nut 3 screwed onto the latter direct and tightened. When loosening the nut, the snap ring works in such a way that the sleeve is pulled out of its seat at the same time as the nut is loosened.
Fig. 2 shows such a clamping chuck I with its shaft la in a correspondingly conical seat in the front end of a Maschi nenspindel 6 and by means of the nut 3a. which has a snap ring 4a in its annular groove 5a, which rests against the underside of a collar provided on the shaft la, over which the nut 3a engages.
3 shows a cutter 8 on the conical centering mandrel 1b of a machine spindle which is provided with a collar and which is centered in the conical seat in the front end of the spindle 6r. a union nut 3b with snap ring 41) resting against the collar (Fig. 3a. @ is secured in its annular groove.
The madder 8 has a conical seat and thus engages over the cone i of the centering mandrel 1b and is held by means of a cap nut 9. which is screwed onto the union nut 3b. Fig. 3n shows:
a snap ring 4b with a hook n. and a () se b at its ends for the purpose of easy gripping of the ring when inserting and removing it.
In Fig. 4 and 4a the snap ring has been omitted and the conical sleeve 2e provided with a collar has slots 2 \ - in such a way that it can be pressed together and inserted with the collar into the ring-shaped nt 5c of the nut 3c, :
o that, when the nut is loosened, the ring-shaped projection 3- in front of the ring-shaped 'Tut 51' in the nut, similar to the snap ring in the embodiments described above, rests on the collar of the sleeve and thus a Heratt -,
pulling the latter on the conical sump of the body is permitted.
