Drosselklappenventil.
In der beiliegenden Zeichnung sind bei spielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfin dungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 einen Achsialschnitt durch eine erste Ausführungsform, einzelne Teile in Ansicht; Fig. 2 ist ein Axialschnitt durch die Aus führung nach Fig. 1, um 90 zu dieser ge dreht, teilweise in Ansicht;
Fig. 3 und .1 zeigen eine zweite Ausfüh rungsform in entsprechenden Ansichten; Fig. 5 zeigt ein Detail der Ausführung nach Fig. 3 und d; Fig. 6 zeigt eine Detailvariante der Aus führung nach Fig. 1; Fig. 7 und 8 zeigen schematisch den Ein bau je zweier Ventile in zwei Wasser leitungen; F'ig. 9, 10 und 11 zeigen ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel mit Einrichtung zum Beeinflussen der Dichtungsringe durch den Flüssigkeitsdruck;
Fig. 12 zeigt ein Detail.
Throttle valve. The present invention is a throttle valve with a housing rotatably mounted in a Ge throttle disc. Such butterfly valves have often been used for water pipes, with the valve discs being mounted on a shaft which is diametrically and in the plane of the disc through these leads, in such a way that the circumference of the disc is interrupted at two points by the shafts which shaft ends are stored in the housing of the line etc. There are such valves are known in which the circumference of the disc is provided with at least one groove in which from serving sealing sealing strips are built, which are fastened to the shaft ends be.
There have always been difficulties in achieving a perfect seal. These difficulties are mainly due to the fact that it was not possible to produce the sealing strips to the correct length so that they could also adapt to the changes in shape that occur, for example a change in the shape of the tube or the housing. The not very flexible strips could not fit tightly against the housing wall everywhere in the vicinity of the shaft, especially when the disk was under pressure. According to the present invention, the throttle valve disc is now mounted rotatably about an axis; which is at an angle to the center plane of the disc.
The center plane of the disk therefore does not coincide with an axial plane. This arrangement ensures that the entire circumference of the throttle disc is uninterrupted and can be provided with a self-contained groove into which resilient sealing rings or sealing segments can be installed. The throttle valve disc can therefore be sealed off by means of one or more rings or ring parts, similar to an engine piston. The execution can thereby. done in two ways.
In one case, the center plane of the throttle valve disc can be vertical. stand to the axis of the pipeline or the valve, in which case the shaft carrying the disc is inclined to the valve axis. With this arrangement, it is not necessary to make the valve housing in two parts, and the inner wall of the Ge housing, with which the circumference of the throttle valve disc cooperates, can be symmetrical, since only two points of the disc when the disc rotates around its shaft when opening are in contact with the inner wall of the housing. The diameter of the throttle valve disc is the same as for the inner wall.
In the second Ausfüh approximate form, the shaft carrying the throttle valve disc is at right angles to the Ven tilachse, while the throttle valve disc is at an angle to this axis that is smaller respectively. is greater than 90. In order to be able to install a throttle valve disc of this type, it is necessary to make the valve housing in two parts. The circumference of the throttle Z :, cooperates with an inner wall of the valve housing, which forms part of a spherical surface.
In either case, a pressure component will be in the direction of the shaft when the valve is closed. This pressure can be absorbed by pressure bearings etc .; furthermore, means can be provided to allow the liquid pressure to act on the sealing rings.
In the accompanying drawings, for example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: FIG. 1 shows an axial section through a first embodiment, individual parts in view; Fig. 2 is an axial section through the imple mentation of Figure 1, rotates by 90 to this GE, partially in view;
Fig. 3 and .1 show a second Ausfüh approximately form in corresponding views; Fig. 5 shows a detail of the embodiment according to Figs. 3 and d; Fig. 6 shows a detailed variant of the implementation of Fig. 1; Fig. 7 and 8 show schematically the A construction of two valves in two water lines; F'ig. 9, 10 and 11 show a further exemplary embodiment with means for influencing the sealing rings by the liquid pressure;
Fig. 12 shows a detail.
In the drawing, 1 denotes a pipe line in which a valve housing 2 is built. In the latter, a throttle valve disc 3 is rotatably mounted in bearings 6 by means of a shaft 5. The circumference 7 of the disk 3 is provided with a groove 8 in which an elastic seal 9 (FIG. 5) is installed. The seal has a ring 10 which consists of a sealing ring 11 and an inner resilient ring 1? consists. The ring 11 has an uninterrupted outer sealing surface which overlaps at 13 (Fig. 12). The second ring 12 is ver means pin 1-1 with the ring 11 connected.
The pin 1.1 protrudes into a recess 15. The elastic packing is not absolutely necessary, since the circumference of the disk 3 itself can be machined precisely in order to lie tightly against the inner wall of the valve housing and close. The disk 3 is circular , as well as the groove 8, the seal 9 and the inner wall of the valve housing.
The pack 9 can be composed of segments which overlap, the ring 1? the joint of the inner ring segments 11 covers. The center plane of the disk 3 is now at an angle to the axis of the shaft 5, and that the angle is so large that the shaft 5 respectively the grooves. Sealing rings does not cut. The axis of the shaft 5 is shown in Fig. 1 and \? at an angle to the central axis or to the axis of the valve and line 1.
When in Fit. 3, I and 8 illustrated embodiment, the axis of the shaft is at right angles to the axis of the valve housing 2 and the tube 1. The disc 3, however, is again at an angle to the shaft axis. The diameter of the disc 3 is slightly larger than the diameter of the inner wall of the tube 1 respectively. of the valve housing 2. In order to be able to reach a tight seal, the valve housing 2 is provided with an inner wall 16 which forms part of a spherical surface whose diameter corresponds to that of the disc 3, this diameter being greater than the diameter of the cylindrical inner wall of the valve housing 2. The valve housing 2 itself is in two parts.
The partial plane coincides with a plane through the axis of the shaft 5 and is perpendicular to the axis of the tube 1 and the valve housing 2. The disc 3 is provided with sealing rings, the outer surface of which is designed as an equatorial spherical zone.
The pressure of the liquid in the line 2 acts perpendicularly on the disk 3. If z. For example, assuming that the liquid flows in the direction of the arrows, FIGS. 1, 3 and 10, a pressure component will arise in the direction of the shaft 5; this pressure is absorbed by the bearings 6, with the help of an abutment. This abutment has a thrust washer 17 which is attached to the shaft 5. The thrust washer 17 rests on its counter bearing 18, which is mounted perpendicular to the shaft 5 in the housing 2, namely the counter bearing 18 is provided with a stuffing box 19 in which the shaft 5 runs and which is replaceable in a nozzle 20 of the valve housing 2 is ordered.
The counter bearing 18 with the stuffing box 19 is held by a cap 21 which is screwed onto the valve housing. This pressure component is equal to the pressure of the liquid on the disk 3, multiplied by the sine of the angle which the axis of the shaft 5 forms with the center plane of the disk 3.
The lower end of the shaft 5 exits the valve housing through a stuffing box 22. Since the exit of the shaft 5 from the valve housing sits on the outflow side of the Ven valve, this stuffing box 22 can be omitted without damage. The upper end of the shaft 5 can also, as shown in FIG. 6, be supported. The valve housing has a connecting piece 201 in which a stuffing box 221 is provided for sealing the shaft 5. The stuffing box is provided with curved walls 222 which support a pressure plate 180. On the pressure plate 180 there is a pressure ring 171 which is rigidly connected to the shaft 5 and which rests on the plate 180.
A cap 210 is connected to the pressure plate 180. With this design, the pressure abutment is not exposed to the influence of the leaks if the seal of the shaft 5 should be defective.
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, two or more lines can simultaneously be controlled by a valve arrangement. Two valves can be fastened on one and the same shaft in the reverse arrangement, so that the final pressure bearing of one valve is balanced by the pressure component of the other valve.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, valves come for use, as shown in FIG. The sub-lines 1 are at an angle to one another, the angle being twice the angle between the disk center plane and the shaft axis. In the embodiment of FIG. 8, two parallel lines are seen before. In this version, a valve is installed in each of the two sub-lines, which are attached to a common shaft.
In both embodiments according to FIG. 7 and; 8, the valve housings are each verbun by a common bearing 61 to each other, and this is under pressure, as shown in FIG. A sealing of the Wel lenenden over the connector 61 is not possible; However, if the printing direction is indicated by the arrow in FIG. 8, the sealing stuffing boxes 22 for the ends of the shaft 5 are necessary. agile.
The seal 10 of the disk 3 according to the embodiment according to FIG. 3 is sufficient for smaller valves. To get a good seal, holes 23 (Fig. 5) are seen before, which connect the groove 8 on the circumference 7 of the disc 3 with the pressure side of the valve, such that the device 10 by the water pressure to the outside on the inner wall of the valve is driven.
In Fig. 9 an arrangement is shown according to which the pressure on the ring pack can be regulated. In this embodiment, the cap 211 is provided with a hub 212 in which a threaded spindle 213 is screwed. The spindle 213 protrudes into a central bore 51 of the shaft 5 and is provided with a handwheel 214 on the outside. The end of the spindle 213 lying in the drill ring 51 is provided with two pistons 215. From the bore 51 branches off a line 216 after the groove 8, in which the latter the device 10 is located. A second line 217 leads from the bore 51 to the outlet side and a line 218 to the pressure side of the valve.
The dimensions and distances between the bores 216, - 217, 218 and the distance between the two pistons 215 vonein other is chosen so that the space between the piston 215 can connect the groove 8 either with the pressure side or with the outlet side of the valve. A relief line 2171 is provided in the bore 51 which runs between the bottom of the bore and the line 217. This device enables the seal 10 to be placed under a variable pressure in the groove 8.
FIGS. 10 and 11 show a further embodiment of this pressure control device. In this embodiment, the bore 51 extends to the center of the disk 3 and there opens into an annular chamber 2161. The chamber 2161 connects radially extending branch lines 2162, which lead to the groove 8, with one another. Through the lines 2162 the pressure is evenly distributed over the entire circumference of the disk 3, both against the pressure side and against the relief side.
A relief bore 21.72 connects the bore 51 with the outflow side of the valve. The valve shown in FIG. 10 essentially corresponds to that of FIG. 1, but the embodiment of FIG. 6 is provided as a shaft abutment. The handling is as follows: By turning the handwheel 214 who adjusts the piston 215, so that the pressure supply line 218 comes with the lines 2162 in connection.
The pressurized water then presses the sealing rings 10 against the inner wall of the valve housing '. When the valve is opened, the pressure on the seal is reduced by connecting the grooves 8 to the discharge line 21.7 so that the sealing rings recede from the inner wall of the housing. The valve can then be opened easily.
