Dispositif pour établir une communication entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur d'un
amoncellement de matières végétales.
La présente invention a, pour objet un dispositif pour établir une communication entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur d'un amoncelle- ment de matières végétales, telles que par exemple du foin, de la paille, des céréales, etc. Ce dispositif est constitué par un corps de forme tubulaire présentant des nervures extérieures entre lesquelles sont disposées des ouvertures, ce corps étant ouvert à l'une de ses extrémités et comportant une pointe à son autre extrémité.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'ob- jet de l'invention.

En référence aux fig. 1 et 2, le corps 10 est de forme tubulaire et comporte à l'une de ses extrémités une pointe 11, ; tandis qu'il reste ouvert à son autre extrémité 12. Ce corps 10 comporte des nervures extérieures longitu- dinales 13 entre lesquelles sont disposées des ouvertures 14.
Ces dernières sont disposées radialement et groupées dans des plans différents sur sen siblement toute la, longueur du corps 10. La disposition est telle qu'il est possible d'introduire au travers de deux ouvertures 14 situées dans un même plan et diamétralement oppo sées l'une à l'autre, une traverse 15 de commande de ce corps. Ceci permet de le ma noeuvrer plus facilement lorsqu'il s'agit par exemple de l'introduire dans un tas de foin.
Le corps 10 peut être constitué par plusieurs parties et il comporte, a, cet effet, dans son extrémité ouverte une partie taraudée 16 dans laquelle peut se visser une extrémité filetée 17 d'une partie 18 représentée à la fig, 3. Cette partie 18 est constituée de manière analogue au corps 10 et pourvue également de nervures et d'ouvertures disposées entre ces dernières. Les parties taraudées 16 et filetées 17 sont prévues de telle manière que lorsque la partie 18 est vissée sur le corps 10, ses nervures se trouvent dans le prolongement de celles du corps. Cette partie 18 présente aussi à son extrémité opposée à l'extrémité filetée 17 une portion taraudée 19 qui permet de prolonger encore le corps de manière analogue.
La traverse 15 peut être introduite dans les ouvertures de la partie 18 comme représenté à la fig. 3 pour la visser sur le corps 10 et la serrer fortement.

S'il s'agit d'établir une communication entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur d'un amoncellement de foin par exemple, pour empêcher qu'il ne s'enflamme ensuite de la fermenta tion, on introduit le corps 10 avec sa pointe dans l'amoncellement en question et on l'y enfonce au moyen de la traverse 15. Si l, a base du tas n'est pas encore atteinte on place sur le corps 10 une ou plusieurs parties 18 en les vissant successivement les unes sur les autres.
Comme les ouverturesHsetrouventen- tre deux nervures 13 elles ne sont pas obs- truées de sorte que la communication entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur du tas est assurée.
La fig. 4 représente une coupe transver- sale d'un corps 10 dont les parois au lieu d'être massives, par exemple en fonte, comme dans la, première forme d'exécution, sont en tôle. Dans ce cas. l'extrémité du corps oppo si. e a. la pointe est pourvue d'une pièce présentant une ouverture taraudée à laquelle correspond alors une partie filetée d'une pièce fixée dans lune des extrémités d'une partie 18, dont les parois sont également en tôle.
La partie 18 pourrait être fixée au corps 10 autrement qu'en la vissant, par exemple par simple emboîtement.
Au lieu d'introduire le corps 10 dans un amoncellement, ce corps peut être mis en place en premier lieu et les matières-végétales disposées ensuite autour de lui.

The object of the present invention is a device for establishing communication between the interior and the exterior of a heap of vegetable matter, such as for example hay, straw, cereals, etc. This device consists of a body of tubular shape having external ribs between which openings are arranged, this body being open at one of its ends and having a point at its other end.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.

With reference to fig. 1 and 2, the body 10 is tubular in shape and has at one of its ends a tip 11; while it remains open at its other end 12. This body 10 comprises longitudinal outer ribs 13 between which openings 14 are arranged.
The latter are arranged radially and grouped in different planes over substantially the entire length of the body 10. The arrangement is such that it is possible to introduce through two openings 14 located in the same plane and diametrically opposite the 'to one another, a cross member 15 for controlling this body. This makes it easier to maneuver it when it comes, for example, to introduce it into a pile of hay.
The body 10 can be made up of several parts and has, for this purpose, in its open end a threaded part 16 into which can be screwed a threaded end 17 of a part 18 shown in FIG. 3. This part 18 is constructed in a manner analogous to the body 10 and also provided with ribs and openings disposed therebetween. The threaded 16 and threaded 17 parts are provided in such a way that when the part 18 is screwed onto the body 10, its ribs are in the extension of those of the body. This part 18 also has at its end opposite the threaded end 17 a threaded portion 19 which makes it possible to extend the body further in a similar manner.
The cross member 15 can be introduced into the openings of the part 18 as shown in FIG. 3 to screw it onto the body 10 and tighten it firmly.
The operation of the device is as follows:
If it is a question of establishing communication between the interior and the exterior of a pile of hay, for example, to prevent it from subsequently igniting during fermentation, the body 10 is introduced with its point in the heap in question and it is driven there by means of the cross member 15. If the base of the heap is not yet reached, one or more parts 18 are placed on the body 10, screwing them successively. on others.
As the openings H and find two ribs 13 they are not obstructed so that communication between the interior and the exterior of the pile is ensured.
Fig. 4 shows a transverse section of a body 10 whose walls, instead of being solid, for example made of cast iron, as in the first embodiment, are made of sheet metal. In that case. the end of the body oppo si. e a. the point is provided with a part having a threaded opening to which then corresponds a threaded part of a part fixed in one of the ends of a part 18, the walls of which are also made of sheet metal.
Part 18 could be fixed to body 10 other than by screwing it, for example by simple interlocking.
Instead of introducing the body 10 into a heap, this body can be put in place first and the plant materials then placed around it.
