Dans la, variante représenfi'e a la fig. sur l'arbre moteur1 est elaveië le moy en -1 sur lequel sont montés rigidement, d'une pari, la, demi-poulie Il et, d'autre part, le tambourà ,sur lit (#ireonférence duquel est montée la, couronne it plans inclinés6;
la couronneà plans inclinés7 correspondante est portée par la demi-poulie 8 laquelle. dans ce cas, est maintenue et -uidée comme il est indiqué ci-dessous, le tambour5 et la demi- poulie 11 sont, en effet, réunis par des en tretoises 14 qui passent dans des enpoches ou évidements ménagésà cet effet dans la demi-poulie 8;
Driving pulley for end endless belts for vehicles with propellant tracks. Drive pulleys for belts are known. endless, for vehicles with propulsion tracks, pulleys with which the adhesion between the pulley and the, endless belt of T-shaped section is obtained automatically by the lateral tightening of the vertical part of the T between two parts of the pulley, this tightening being controlled by means of inclined planes. In pulleys of this kind, the tightening obtained is proportional to the motor force at roundness, however the adhesion between the band and the pulley is constant.
The present invention relates to a pulley of a similar type in which the tightening of the vertical part -du T of the band depends not only on the motor force. but also the adhesion of the band on the pulley, this tightening varying to both proportionally to the engine force and in a manner inversely proportional to this adhesion, In other words, when, as a result of the presence, between the endless belt and the pulley, of la. road plots, such as 1 </ B > dust, , sand, water, mud,
ncige ctc. # the coefficient of adhesion will increase or decrease and the tightening on the vertical part of the endless belt will loosen or increase. This result is obtained by the arrangement of the inclined planes which produce the tightening of the median part of the T so that the access of these inclined planes is possible by those of the road, which foreign bodies, being able to access between the surfaces in con tact, will vary the coefficient of friction between these parts and consequently the clamping effect obtained according to the adhesion.
It is shown, to by way of example, a-Li des sin annexed, three forms # of e - ,, - #, 6ctttion of motor lice according to the 'invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevation view, mid-section of la, first. and Figs. 2 and 3 are similar views b of the other two; Fig. 4 is a partial development of crowns with inclined planes.
1 designates the drive shaft of the drive pulley on which the endless belt 2 passes, of which 3 designates it. central part or vertical part of the T subjected to variable tightening, Dan-s the embodiment shown #e ù, la fi-g. 1. the force is transmitted by the shaft 1. to titi sleeve 4 (drives it a drum 5 </ B > Iiir the p (,
riinèti - (- # of which is fixed an eourfYinio 6 bearing on one face teeth with inclined planes which take in those of another similar part 7 fixed against the inside of the half-pulley 8. This latter is connected by an elastic disc 1) to a secondary hub lo mounted freely on the hub 4. The second half-pulley Il is rigidly fixed to the seeonclaire hub 10.
Openings 12 and 13 are made., On the one hand, in the rim of the half-pulley 8 and, on the other hand, on the rim of the drum drive 5 and are intended to allow the introduction between the inclined planes of the teeth of parts 6 and 7 of foreign bodies ( dust, sand, water, mud, snow, etc.), the fine particles of which are introduced between the surfaces of these inclined planes, thus varying the coefficient of friction of the parts present.
We understand, cry effect, that if we walk on a dry road, for example, due to the dust settling on the rim of the pulley, the track-pulley adhesion is great and the tightening of the vertical part of the the track must be minimum.
In this case, the inclined planes will be severe and their resistance to sliding will not be true. disk 9 will fail. less under the thrust of the inclined planes of the 6 crown and it will result. a reduction in the tightening of the vertical part of the track.
On the contrary, if you walk in water # the track-pulley contact is lubricated, hence the adhesion between these two components is reduced, but at the same time, the water entering through openings 12 and 13 lubricates the inclined planes resulting in a decrease in friction between them and. consequently, an increase in tightening.
We see clearly, that while allowing (To obtain a tightening proportional to to the force t> motor, since the ring gear 6 is made integral with the motor shaft, we realizes, by means of the pulley rJ # crite # a tightening inversely proportional to to the adhesion.
In the variant shown in FIG. on the motor shaft 1 is elaveië the means -1 on which are mounted rigidly, by a bet, the, half-pulley Il </ B > and, on the other hand, the drum à , on a bed (# ireonference from which the, crown it inclined planes 6;
the crown with inclined planes 7 corresponding is carried by the half-pulley 8 which. in this case, is maintained and -guided as indicated below, the drum 5 and the half-pulley 11 are, in fact, joined by spacer 14 which pass through pockets or recesses made to for this purpose in the half-pulley 8;
this one can therefore then approach the half-pulley 11, under the action of the inclined planes (the parts 6 and 7. by sliding on the spacers., 14 and on the outer edge of the drum .5.
As in the example of fig. 1 openings 1 -) and 13 are provided on the rim of the half-pulley 8, -and on the rim of the drum 5 to allow access between parts C) and 7,
parcels or bodies outside the road which thus automatically maintain the coefficient of friction between the planes invlin # ', if at the desired value.
In the pulley shown at fi 'g. 3, the action on inclined planes is produced by the rims ,,; of the pulley.
A this effect, the rims 15 are iridependent from the conical drive flanges IC). which are each integral with the fambour 17, these last drums are mounted to rub gently on the rim of dragging drums 5 and 5 " which are. Fixed rigidly to the hub 4, # washer on the shaft 1.
The rims 15 are integral with inelined planes 6 -which act on similar parts 7 carried by the conical flanges 16.
The lower part of these flanges has a drive toothing which engages n between the spacers 1-1 which join the two drive drums 5 < / B> and 5 '. Between the inelined planes G fixed to the rims 15 and the outer cheek - of the drums 5 < / B> and 5 ' are arranged the thrust washers 18. The operation takes place as follows: As soon as -y has a tendency to to slip, the rims 15 on which the endless belt rests, and, consequently, the inclined planes 6 integral with these rims, are behind the inclined planes 7 fixed on the conical cheeks 16 of drive, which produces I < / B> tightening required.
The introduction of the plots of. road (various foreign bodies) also taking place, as in the previous cases, by appropriate openings on the rubbing parts (planes inline 6 and 7 and support washers 18), the tightness (the result obtained is therefore inversely proportional to to the adhesion.
