Device for tapping measured amounts of liquid from a bottom container by means of a suction and press pump and a flow meter. Known devices for tapping measured amounts of liquid, in which the liquid is pumped by a suction and press pump from a liquid container, the so-called bottom container, and pressed through a flow meter to the tap, have the disadvantage that if there is no or no.
complete closure of a reverse check valve or a foot flap, after tapping the liquid from the pump lines or from a part of them flows back into the bottom container, the display of the measuring device, which is used both when a gas is passed and when a liquid is passed through Activity occurs with the next tap, as a result of the air in the pump lines, the amount of liquid tapped does not correspond to the amount of liquid tapped, but will only be so much higher,
when air was forced through the measuring device.
The purpose of the present invention is to remedy this drawback. The invention consists in that a device is connected to the part of the pump line which is capable of emptying, which discharges the air present in the same before the measuring device, the discharge being closed automatically after the pump lines are completely filled with liquid filled. are.
The device for discharging the air can be a known Schwimmervor device, consisting of a housing equipped with an inlet and outlet, within which a float is arranged in such a way that air. is able to flow along the float from the inlet to the outlet, while liquid which passes through the inlet into the housing acts on the float in such a way that the outlet is closed.
In order to prevent such a high increase in the pressure in the pump line at the same time, for example when pumping with closed taps on the bleeding line or the measuring device, that damage to the pump or the lines can occur, the float device can also be such that the outlet is restored opens automatically as soon as this pressure has reached a certain level.
Such a device can consist of a float device in which the seat of the float valve is formed by a flap which is opened when a certain pressure occurs in the lines filled with liquid, and thereby a path for the liquid from the inlet to the Establishes outlet of the float housing.
The pressure at which the flap forming the seat of the float valve is opened. can be regulated in such a way that the flap is lifted at the highest pressure that is to be permitted in the pump lines. For this purpose, this flap can be under the action of a = - spring, which presses on the one hand against the flap and on the other hand against an adjustable stop.
The float housing is preferably at the highest point of the pump line and approximately. arranged at the same height as the highest point of the tapping line in such a way that the measuring device comes to lie in a sack, so to speak, and the part of the line between the float device and the measuring device remains filled with liquid under all circumstances.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is illustrated as a gasoline filling system with a flow meter in an exemplary embodiment, namely: FIG. 1 shows the front view, partly in vertical section, partly in front view, FIG. 2, the float housing alone in vertical section, FIG a top view of the flap in the float housing, and Fig. 4 is a top view of the lower guide plate for the float rod.
The bottom container 1 is filled by means of a filling line 15, with the harmful C1ase, which must not escape through the air line 13, being sucked off through the exhaust line connected at 16. The petrol is drawn from the bottom container by means of the pump 4 through the suction line '? sucked in with the foot valve 3 and pressed through the filter 6 which is used to hold back the impurities and through the pressure vessel 7 arranged on this filter into the pressure line 5.
The pressure line is connected to the supply line of the flow meter 8 by means of a T-piece 17, the discharge line of which is provided with an air valve and at the same height as the T-piece 17 has a branch piece 18, on the branch connection of which the discharge line 10 closed with a drain cock is connected.
The inflow line of the flow meter 8 is equipped with a valve 9, which; the line closes automatically as soon as the amount of gasoline that is to be tapped is sufficient.
The upper end of the vertical leg of the T-piece 17 is connected to the inlet of the float housing 11, to whose outlet the line 12 connects, which above the container is provided with a deduction 14, which is shown in FIG the air space above the gasoline in the bottom container opens, while the line 12 itself extends with its lower end 19 to the bottom of the bottom container and serves as an overflow tube.
When the foot valve 3 closes the suction line 2 completely, the suction line remains after a quantity of petrol has been drawn off. the pressure line 5 and the inflow line leading to the through atrömuzlgsmesser, as well as the same outflow line up to the branch pipe 18 completely with. Petrol filled. The pressure flow meter is such that (valve 9 is closed automatically.
as soon as the pointer of 8 goes back to Il during the tapping process. Since the valve 3 does not allow the gasoline to flow back, (at least for some time) (read gasoline in the float valve 11 and keeps the outlet closed at 12. Because of its weight and because the air valve is closed due to the gas pressure The gasoline will now flow out of the discharge line connected to 10.
If, for example, five liters of petrol are to be drained, the pointer of the flow meter 8 is set to 5. During the subsequent pumping, gasoline immediately flows out of the pressure line 5 and through the flow meter B. When five liters have passed through the meter, the valve 9 closes itself and the state occurs again after exactly five liters of gasoline have been dispensed which existed above before pumping.
If the foot valve 3 does not close completely tightly, the pressure line 5 and the suction line 2 will have emptied after a while, and the drainage of the gasoline from the float device 11 will open the outlet of the same after 12 ge.
The line between the T-piece 17 and the tap 9, as well as the line lying between the flow meter 8 and the branch pipe 18, however, will remain filled with gasoline. If gasoline has to be drained again and you start pumping, the air in the suction and pressure lines is first discharged to the outside through the float device 11, the line 12, the branch 14 and the air line 13,
because the air is offered less resistance on this path than when flowing through the flow meter. However, as soon as the suction and pressure lines are filled with gasoline and gasoline also flows into the float device, the outlet of the latter is automatically closed after 12, and then the state has occurred again, which is described above with the foot valve completely closed.
Only after this state has occurred and continued pumping does gasoline flow through the flow meter until the tap 9 actively closes itself, i.e. exactly the required amount of gasoline has been drawn off.
The housing 21 (FIG. 2) of the float device 11 is provided with an inlet 33 and an outlet 34. Inside this housing, a float 22 can move up and down, which is arranged displaceably on a float rod 23 and limits its upward displacement by the stop of the valve cone 24 arranged on the rod on the valve seat 32 becomes.
The float rod 23 is guided at the bottom in a guide plate 26 which rests with outwardly protruding cams 27 on a protruding edge of the float housing 21; At the upper end, the float rod 23 is guided in a flap 25, on the upper side of which cams 31 protrude and the lower side of which forms the seat 32 for the valve cone 24. The flap 25 is pressed by a spring 28, the tension of which can be regulated by screwing the stop 29 up and down within the outlet 34, onto a seat 30 firmly connected to the float housing.
The effect of this device is as follows: The air, which is pressed through the inlet 33 into the float housing, flows through the openings between the cams 27, paints along the float 22 and reaches through the opened valve 24-32 the outlet 34. As soon as the liquid passes through the inlet 33 into the float housing, the float goes up, and as soon as the liquid level in the housing has risen accordingly, the valve cone 24 is pressed onto the seat 32, so that for the liquid the way after the outlet 14 is complete.
If the pressure under which this liquid is under has increased in such a way that it overcomes the tension of the spring 8, the flap 25 is lifted, and a path to the outlet 34 is opened for the liquid, because the liquid can now through the opening between the flap 25 and the seat 30 and through the interspaces between the cams 31, when these are in contact with the top wall of the housing 21, they reach the outlet 3: 1.
