Deckelverschluss für Blechgefässe mit unter den Gefässrand greifendem Spreizring. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein insbe sondere für Karbidversandtrommeln geeigne ter Deckelverschluss, bei welchem ein unter den Gefässrand greifender Spreizring benutzt wird, der unter Vermittlung eines die En den des Spreizringes verbindenden,, kniehebel- artig wirkenden Gestänges den Gefässdeckel gegen einen Stützrand der Gefässwandung ab dichtend anp.resst.
Das Wesen der Erfindung beruht darin, dass das eine der beiden Gelenkglieder im Querschnitt U-förmig gestaltet und das an dere zu einem Handgriff verlängert ist, so dass es beim Umlegen in das andere Gelenk glied eingerückt und mit diesem durch ein Sicherungsorgan verriegelt werden kann.
Dieser Verschluss zeichnet sich durch be sondere Einfachheit, sowie leichte und sichere Handhabung aus, wobei .durch die Verlänge rung des einen Kniehebelgliedes der dadurch gebildete Handgriff .das Lösen und Einbrin gen des Spreizringes sehr erleichtert.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein Aus führungsbeispiel im senkrechten Schnitt und in Oberansicht. a bezeichnet das Gefäss, das - bei a1 zu einem ringförmigen Stützrand der Gefäss wandung für die Aufnahme der Dichtung d ausgebildet und an seinem äussersten Rand Planschartig umgekröpft ist, so dass Raum für die Einfügung des Deckels b und den auf den umgelegten Deckelrand sich auf legenden Spreizring c verbleibt.
Die beiden Enden I, II des bei s geschlitzten Spreizringes c nehmen Lappen j, j auf zum Anschluss von um Zapfen e, e1, e2 drehbaren -Gelenkgliedern. Das kleinere Gelenkglied f ist zu einem Handgriff f1 verlängert, wäh rend das andere längere Gelenkglied g nach Fig. 3 im Querschnitt U-förm,ig gestaltet ist, so dass der Teil f 1 in den Teil g eingerückt werden kann, wenn der Verschluss gesperrt werden soll.
Für gewöhnlich, d. h. bei noch nicht ab dichtendem Spreizring, nehmen die Teile die aus Fig. 2 in strichpunktierten Linien er sichtlichen Lagen ein; durch Umlegen des Handgriffes f' in Richtung nach dem Spreiz- ring zu erfährt das Gelenk nach der der An fangslage entgegengesetzten Richtung eine Einknickung, derart, dass in der in der Zeich nung in vollen Linien gezeigten Lage der Teile die Spannung des Spreizringes das un beabsichtigte Zurückschwingen der Gelenk glieder<I>f, g</I> verhindert.
Wie ohne weiteres ersichtlich, erfolgt so eine automatische Selbstverriegelung des Verschlusses, der somit besondere Hilfsmit tel zur Sperrung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Lö sen entbehrlich macht.
Bei geschlossenem Gelenk kann jedoch noch ein Splint mit Öse durch eine kleine Öffnung lt des Teils g hindurchgeführt. und die Öse dieses Splintes durch einen Draht mit einer Aussparung i am Ende des Hand- (Triffes P verbunden werden, um auf diese M, reise auch eine leichte Plombierung des Gefässes zu ermöglichen.
