Tool used for driving and excavating piles.
The tool which forms the subject of the present invention for driving in and digging out piles is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing in various exemplary embodiments.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, two two-armed levers serving as a clamping organization are rotatably connected to one another by means of pins 1. The arms 2 of the lever serve as handles. The arms 3, which are bent at right angles to the handle 2, carry clamping jaws 4 which are intended to grip the post 5. The Baehen 4 are arched and are roughened, corrugated, etc. in order to be able to firmly grasp the pole.
When the handles 2 are lifted, the clamping jaws 4 are pressed against each other and firmly against the post 5, the stronger the greater the pull on the handle 2 upwards.
In order to be able to use the same tool to drive the pile in, the tool must be turned so that the clamping jaws 4 engage the pile 5 above the handle.
In the embodiment of the tool according to FIG. 2, two jaws 6, 7 each are rigidly attached to the handles 2, which are above and below the handles 2, the latter being rotatably connected to one another by a bolt 8. If the handles 2 are pulled up in the direction of the arrows, the post 5 is in any case taken upwards. The jaws 6, 7 thus cling firmly to the post 5.
To drive in pile 5, the tool has to be turned again.
In FIGS. 3 and 4, a further embodiment is shown in which a handle 10 is arranged in a holder 9 so that it can be screwed, which at one end has a clamping jaw 11. roughened griffin is provided. With a bolt 12 of the holder, a second handle 13 is pivotably mounted, which is provided with a curved gripping plate 14 GE. The clamping jaw 11 can be adjusted to the correct distance by screwing the handle 10.
When the handle 13 swings out in the direction of the arrow, the post is then still completely fixed. The gripping surface of the plate 14 runs eccentrically to the pin 12.
In order to enable the tool to be used when only one worker is available, a support plate 20 is releasably attached to the handle 10 and, when placed on the ground, serves as an abutment when a pole is being excavated.
The tool can also be constructed as shown in FIGS. 5, 6. In this embodiment, an abutment 16 is attached to a handle 15, into which the one pile to be driven or to be lifted is inserted. In one eye 17 of the abutment 16, the handle 18 is screwed, which has a clamping plate 19 that is pressed against the post 5 by screwing the handle 18.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, a rod 21 is provided with a lateral recess 22. Furthermore, a clamping lever 24 is articulated to rod 21 by means of pin 23, which is articulated to a handle 26 by means of a pulling element 25. The handle 26 is arranged drelibar on the rod 21. By adjusting the same, a post lying in the recess 22 can be clamped by means of the clamping lever 24. One of the end pieces of the rod 21 ends in a point and can serve as a pre-punch.
8 shows an embodiment in which a double-armed lever 30 by means of pin 31 is on a handle 98 which is detachably connected to a handle 29. The parts 28, 30, 31 together make a pair of pliers, by means of which the pile to be lifted can be grasped.
9 shows another embodiment in which two ribbed clamping pieces 32, 33 are connected to one another in a hinge-like manner at one end by means of a pin 34. Handles 35, 36 are arranged on the clamping pieces. Furthermore, a pawl 37, standing under the action of a spring, is hinged to the free end of the clamping piece 32, which tends to swing upwards. When gripping a pile, the pawl 37 is moved against a recess with a nose 39 of the clamping piece 33, where the pawl 37 hooks itself in so that the clamping jaws 32, 33 cannot open automatically when the pile is lifted.
By moving the pawl down by hand against the spring action, the clamping pieces can be swiveled outwards again. In the bore 38 a chain or the like can be hung, which carries a bracket at the free end to accommodate a foot, in order to pre-punch or Ease of plugging. The foot bracket can be used with all versions.
In all embodiments, the handles can be made of tubular steel, wood, etc. Furthermore, the clamping jaws can be movably connected to the respective handles so that they can easily rest against the post.
