Description
Rollenlager.
Roller bearings. The invention relates to a roller bearing with end pieces of the rollers which taper towards a surface of rotation. Such end pieces for absorbing axial pressures are already known. Compared to these known bearings, the invention consists in the fact that the rollers lay against the likewise tapering after a surface of rotation approaches of the races with edges that are formed by the penetration of the cylindrical part and the tapering end pieces of the roller after a surface of rotation. The lines of contact therefore have the same circumferential speed as the outer running surface of the roller.
End pieces of the rollers that are tapered towards a surface of rotation are understood to be spherical or conical end pieces, and shoulders of the races that are tapered towards a surface of rotation are understood to be conical or similar (convex or concave shoulders.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows half a complete bearing and Fig. 2 shows a roller together with a running ring on a larger scale. The rollers 1 have spherical end pieces which, when loaded, run in the direction of the axis on the tapered running surfaces of the races 2 and 3, in that they lie against the races with edges x, which are caused by the penetration of the cylindrical casing and the spherical end pieces of the Role are formed. For the radial stress, the running surfaces are formed in the usual way by the cylindrical parts of the running rings.
The rollers can be introduced in one of the usual ways.
