Kondensator klemme.
Capacitor terminal. To protect the winding insulation of electrical machines and apparatus, in particular electrical high-voltage transformers, against overstressing caused by overvoltage steep waveform, especially of atmospheric origin, so-called protective capacitors are often branched off at the entry terminals.
The device is much cheaper and simplified ver if the introduction terminal, which is old and in itself a certain, but very low capacity, is combined with the protective capacitor to a single apparatus'.
The distinguishing feature of the invention is the combination of a protective capacitor of much greater capacity than the self-capacitance of an insertion terminal, with the insertion terminal to form a structural unit, in a known manner, for the purpose of achieving a corresponding potential distribution both in the longitudinal as In the transverse direction, conductive coverings can also be brought into conductive connection with subdivisions of the capacitor.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown playing the capacitor terminal. It means l the current conductor, which is covered with the insulating tubes ii, i2, ia. The insulating tubes are covered with the conductive assignments a, i a2, a3 , which are conductively connected to the fittings d.
The insulating tubes il, i2, i3 with their metal coatings a1, ä2, a3 and the conductor l result in three series-connected capacitors of relatively small capacitance.
In order to increase the capacity, four groups of partial capacitors k are switched on between the pads a2-as, ai-az and between 1. = ai and are connected in series. These capacitor groups, which are housed in the space between the insulating tubes ii, i2, is and the sheaths h , are therefore each to the through the insulating tubes ii, i2,
is connected in parallel with the ends of their linings ai, a2, a3 and the conductor l formed capacitors. The predominant capacity of these partial capacitors @ enforces a uniform potential gradient both in the direction along the sheaths and across them in the insulating tubes i1, i2, is.
The application of the invention is not tied to any particular type of capacitor and is independent of the dielectric used.
