Description
Elektrische Kochplatte.
In hig. 1 ist rc die im Schnitt gezeichnete Kochplatte, zum Beispiel aus Gusseisen, die an ihrer Unterseite Rippen b enthält, wo durch Nuten c gebildet sind. Diese dienen zur Aufnahme von je zwei. bandförmigen Widerstandskörpern e., die hochkant gestellt sind und, wie in Fig. 2 besser veranschau licht ist, aus einem Isolierstreifen f, zum Beispiel aus Glimmer, bestehen mit darauf aufgewickeltem bandförmigem Widerstands- material rg, das auch aus Draht sein könnte;
Electric hotplate. The present invention relates to an electric hotplate with resistance heating, the latter having a core made of insulating material and resistance material wound thereon.
According to the invention, at least one groove is present on the underside of the hotplate, which groove serves to accommodate the electrical heating device which rests against the groove wall for the purpose of good heat transfer.
The accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject invention.
In hig. 1 rc is the cooking plate drawn in section, for example made of cast iron, which contains ribs b on its underside, where grooves c are formed. These are used to accommodate two each. ribbon-shaped resistance bodies e., which are placed on edge and, as is illustrated better in FIG. 2, consist of an insulating strip f, for example made of mica, with ribbon-shaped resistance material rg wound thereon, which could also be made of wire;
only the part of the heating device that is present in one groove c is shown. On both sides of the resistor body e there is an insulating strip h, for example also made of mica, while two protective strips are provided between the two inner insulating strips la, for example made of sheet iron. The two resistance or heating elements e are pressed against the wall part of the groove presented to them by a rib b 'by means of a wedge-shaped metal piece k inserted between the two protective strips i.
As a result, the heat transfer from the radiator to the groove surface and thus to the hotplate is an excellent one, so that it is possible to load the hotplate very heavily without the resistance material perishing prematurely.
The hotplate could possibly only have one groove to accommodate the heating device. This could in turn consist of just one heating element instead of several sol- (ion. The heating element can of course also appear in a different form than is the case in the given example, such as the groove or the grooves of the hotplate also different Can or can have shape as drawn.
