Description
Serre-fil.
Wire clamp. The object of the present invention is a wire clamp, in which a threaded rod has at least one longitudinal groove, which, at one end, ends in an inclined bottom connecting, by losing itself, to the periphery of said rod for y form a clamping edge so that one or more threads, introduced into the groove until it protrudes from said clamping edge, can be pinched by tightening a nut against this clamping edge with a view to their fixing .
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
The example of fig. 1 and 2 is used to receive a single wire and is advantageously applied as an electrical terminal for distribution boards or others. It comprises the threaded rod a provided with a longitudinal groove b which, at one end, ends in an inclined bottom connecting, by losing itself, to the periphery of the rod a by forming a clamping edge d there. The nut f is screwed onto the threaded rod a. The wire to be fixed g is introduced into the groove b of the rod a provided with the nut f so that it protrudes beyond the clamping edge d.
Then, by tightening the nut f, the latter clamps the wire against the clamping edge d as can be seen in the drawing and fixes it immutably, while itself thereby being blocked. As a result of the gradual transition of the inclined bottom c in the circumference of the rod, the wire can be easily threaded into the groove by passing under the nut and can be of any desired fineness or size, provided that its diameter does not exceed the width of the groove.
Fig. 3 shows an example with a threaded rod a with two grooves b b1 and two nuts f for tightening two threads.
Of course, several threads could be threaded into each groove at the same time in order to fix them there by the nut.
