Fig. 2 eine Vorrichtung zum selbsttätigen Abschrauben der Mutter in Ansicht mit teilweisem Schnitt ;
Equipment on machines for processing the face of screw nuts and similar workpieces.
The subject of the invention is a device on machines for processing the end faces of screw nuts and similar workpieces, in which the driven workpiece carrier is provided with a threaded mandrel for screwing on the nut to be processed and an abutment for the latter.
The essence of the invention consists in that the clamping of the nut on the workpiece carrier can first be released by mutual axial displacement of the threaded mandrel and the abutment, for the sake of the nut from the workpiece carrier.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in the most essential parts.
Fig. I shows the workpiece holder of the machine partially. in longitudinal section, partly in view,
2 shows a device for automatically unscrewing the nut in a view with a partial section;
3 and 4 illustrate a detail of this device, namely the key and part of its holder in section and in view.
The workpiece holder, which consists of a hollow spindle 3 and an inner spindle 4 arranged therein, is rotatably mounted in the two bearing stands 1, 2 of the machine. While the hollow spindle 3 carries an abutment ring 5 for the workpiece (the nut a) at the front end, the front end of the threaded inner spindle 4 protruding from the abutment ring 5 is used to screw on the nut a. The inner spindle 4 is, as is known, arranged axially adjustable in the hollow spindle 3 in order to be able to advance it by a suitable amount after the front spindle end has been worn, which is then cut off.
For this purpose, an adjusting nut 41 is seated on the inner spindle 4, which is coupled to the hollow spindle 3 by a flat wedge 7 attached to the latter and slidably engaging in a longitudinal groove of the former. This is in an end of the Hollow spindle 3 seated parts 6 held in a rotatable and lockable manner by means of visual screws 42 engaging in a dovetail-shaped annular groove.
By turning this nut 41, the inner spindle 4 can be advanced as required, whereupon it is fixed by a lock nut 43. Finally, at the front end of the spindle, a detachable clamping sleeve 8, which will be described later and which surrounds the inner spindle 4, is arranged, which serves to couple the front spindle bar especially to the hollow spindle 3 and to center it in it.
According to the present invention, however, the inner spindle 4 should also be axially displaceable in the outer spindle 3 independently of the adjustment possibility described. to cancel the clamping of the nut a on the work piece carrier by pushing its front end out of the abutment ring 5. For this reason, the hollow spindle 3 and its part 6 can be displaced in relation to one another in the axial direction, the rear part 6 carrying the 3lutter 41 by two pairs of toggle levers 9, 9 from; which on the drawing only one is visible, with the spindle 3 is in positive connection.
The toggle levers 9, 9 are usually held in the extended position by a bluff 10 which is displaceable on the spindle and in whose inner annular groove an arm 11 provided on a lever 9 engages. The inner spindle 4, which is rigidly coupled to the part 6, is then in its inner end position, in which its front end only protrudes from the abutment ring 5 as much as is necessary to securely fasten the nut a.
By shifting the sleeve 10 to the right, the toggle lever pairs 9, 9 are bent, whereby the part 6 approaches the outer spindle 3 and the inner spindle is shifted so that its front end protrudes further out of the abutment ring 5 by a corresponding amount. This removes the nut a from the abutment 5 and thus releases it from being clamped so that it can be turned and unscrewed easily. Before a new workpiece is screwed on, the inner spindle 4 is returned to its working position by stretching the pairs of toggle levers 9, 9 # completed.
Each time the inner spindle 4 is shifted for the purpose of loosening the nut, of course, the design of the special centering and coupling device for the front end of the spindle is different from the previous design.
According to the present invention, the inner spindle 4 is not directly enclosed by the clamping sleeve 8, but a longitudinally divided threaded sleeve 12 sits on it, which in turn is surrounded by the multiple longitudinally divided, externally conical clamping sleeve 8.
The clamping sleeve 8 is accommodated directly at the front end of the spindle in a conical recess of the hollow spindle 3 and is coupled to it by a grub screw 13 arranged in it and engaging in one of the slots of the clamping sleeve 8, while the coupling of the clamping sleeve 8 with the threaded sleeve 12 through a nose 14 attached to the latter, also engaging in a slot in the clamping sleeve 8, so that the conical clamping sleeve 8 is able to move axially in the conical spindle bore and the threaded housing 1 @ 2 in turn in the clamping sleeve.
Another difference compared to the known device is that the clamping sleeve 8 is not permanently under tension, but is pressed into the conical rotation 15 of the hollow spindle each time by the pressure of the jerk piece a on the abutment ring 5.
For this purpose, the end of the clamping collar 8 protruding from the hollow spindle is designed as a bearing ball for the abutment ring 5, which is provided with a spherical recess for automatic adjustment and held in place by a union nut 16, as is known. As a result, the clamping device is released immediately upon initiation of the axial displacement of the inner spindle 4, so that the spindle 4 can be easily moved back and forth together with the threaded sleeve 12.
If a new workpiece is screwed on after the spindle has retracted, the clamping sleeve 8 is pressed back into the recess 15 of the hollow spindle 3 and the inner spindle is precisely centered and rigidly coupled to the outer spindle at the front end. A particular advantage of this arrangement is that the inner spindle is centered directly at its outermost end.
The inner spindle 4 does not need, as in the known machines, to form the carrier for the nut a itself. Instead, as shown, it can be provided with a special, interchangeable threaded mandrel 17 screwed into a nut hole located at its front end, which can be easily and quickly replaced if necessary. The centering device then of course does not act directly on the inner spindle 4, but rather, as the drawing shows, on the special mandrel 17.
The workpiece carrier is driven, for example, by a belt pulley 21 wedged onto the hollow spindle 3 and a belt 21 a. The tools for processing the nuts are not shown in the drawing because they do not form part of the Erssndung and because their arrangement and training can be the known.
According to the invention, a socket wrench 18 (Fig. 2-4) is used to unscrew the workpieces from the workpiece carrier after machining has been completed, which is rotatably mounted in the outer end of an arm 19, which in turn is pivotable and movable on a shaft mounted on the rear of the machine 20 sits, which serves as a countershaft for the key 18. This shaft 20 is driven by means of a pulley 22 and a belt 23 attached to it; it transmits its rotation to the key 18 through an angular drive not visible in the drawing, an intermediate shaft 24 mounted in the arm 19 and a second angular drive 25 consisting, for example, of two worms.
The bearing arm 19 for the key is usually raised by a spring (not shown) or a counterweight, so that it does not hinder the screwing of the nut or its processing by the turning tools.
However, it can be swiveled downwards into such a position that the key 18 is coaxial with the workpiece carrier; and the arm can then also be displaced parallel to the axis of the workpiece spindle in order to apply the key to the nut.
The wrench is driven in the same way as the workpiece carrier, but with a higher angular speed, so that the nut a can be unscrewed without stopping the workpiece carrier.
The movements of the swingable and displaceable key holder 19 are brought about by a lifting thumb 27, which is seated on a shaft 26, which is also mounted on the rear of the machine, and which is effected by a hand lever fastened on the shaft 26. 28 can be rotated. The lifting thumb 27 acts with an eccentric part of its comb surface on a control cam 29 arranged on a short counter-arm of the holder 19, whereby the holder 19 is rotated downward. If the key 18 is in front of the nut to be unscrewed, the thumb 27 ′ slides with its part concentric to the shaft 26 under the control hook 29.
Then a laterally arranged on the lifting thumb 27 acts; Guide piece 30 rising in the shape of a wedge or helix and having an element arranged on the counter arm of the holder 19. surface 31 in such a way that the holder is displaced parallel to the axis direction of the workpiece holder by the amount required to slip the key onto the nut a.
In the key 18 an ejector rod 32 is slidably arranged, which carries a plate 33 at the front end, while a helical compression spring 34 is arranged on its end protruding from the arm 19, which, on the one hand against the arm 19, on the other against a on the Ejector rod 3 arranged disc supporting itself, holds the ejector in its inuern end position or always seeks to withdraw it into this position.
When the arm 19 is pivoted upward, the rear end of the rod interacts with a stationary guide piece 35 in such a way that the ejector pushes out the nut located in the key when the key is swung out of the working position. The nut then falls onto an inclined guide plate 36, which guides it into a collecting container behind the machine.
On the same shaft as the lifting thumb 27, a disk sector 37 is attached, which carries a wedge-shaped or helically rising guide piece 38. During the downward pivoting of the key holder 19, this interacts with the outer arm 39 of the adjusting fork 40 for the sleeve 10 in such a way that the sleeve is displaced to the right and the toggle lever pairs 9, 9 are bent, d. H. the inner spindle 4 of the workpiece carrier in the sense of the solution of the mother a is pushed ver.
This means that the clamping of the nut on the workpiece holder is first released with one and the same handle and the key 18 is then slipped over the nut a. If the key 18 is returned to its starting position by means of the hand lever 28, the sleeve 10 is also displaced to the left at the same time and the pairs of toggle levers 9, 9 are stretched again.
The operation of the machine is as follows:
It is assumed that the machine parts are in the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The workpiece carrier as well as the key wrench are continuously driven in the same direction or kept in motion, namely the key 19 at a higher angular speed than the spindles 3, 4.
The workpiece to be machined, the nut a, is brought to the threaded mandrel 17 by hand, whereupon it is screwed onto the circumferential mandrel 17 until it rests on the abutment ring 5. The tool support, not shown, is now brought into the working position by means of a hand or foot lever, and the end face of the nut is turned off by the rotating shaft guided against the nut and provided with a mirror.
When this work is finished, the tool support is withdrawn, whereupon one moves the bluff 10 by swinging the hand lever 8 downward on the one hand, so bends the toggle lever pairs 9, 9 and thus, respectively, by moving the inner spindle 4. of the threaded mandrel 17 against the abutment 5 releases the clamping of the nut a on the workpiece carrier, on the other hand, the arm 19 is brought into the working position with the key 18 and the latter slips onto the nut, whereupon the nut is automatically unscrewed from the workpiece carrier.
If it is completely solved, the hand lever 28 is moved back up. The toggle lever pairs 9, 9 are stretched here, i. H. Inner spindle 4 with threaded mandrel 17 and abutment 5 is brought back into its original position relative to one another, while at the same time the arm 19 containing the key 18 returns to its starting position.
The ejector rod 32 pushes against the guide piece 35, as a result of which it is displaced in the key 18 and, by means of the plate 33, throws the nut out of the key so that it reaches the collecting container via the guide plate 36. The hand lever 28 can be moved with the left hand, so that the worker can simultaneously grasp a new nut with his right hand and bring it to the threaded mandrel 17 immediately after the key holder has been pivoted out.
As can also be seen from the above, the solution of the mother of the workpiece carrier only takes a very short time, which significantly increases the numerical performance of the machine. At the same time, however, the fact that the clamping of the nut is released first, so that the latter can easily be unscrewed, avoids damage to its edges, so that the machine delivers perfectly flawless workpieces.
