Fig. 1 ist ein Längsquerschnitt durch einen Abspannisolator, der mit einer Schirmvorrich tung versehen ist; Fig. 2 ist eine Ansicht des Endes eines Isolators, der eine andere Ausführungsform der Schirmvorrichtung zeigt, teilweise im Schnitt, Fig. 3 zeigt eine ähnliche Ausführungs form wie in der Fig. 2, Fig. 4 zeigt eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung in Verbindung mit einem Ketten isolator teilweise im Schnitt und teilweise in Ansicht, Fig. 5 bis 7 zeigen andere Ausführungs formen in Verbindung mit einem Ketteniso lator;
Die äussere Isolation 31 entlastet den Überzag von gefährlichen-Entladungsströmen, infolge des Widerstandes, den sie solchen Strömen eiitge:;ensetzt und erlaubt Arbeit bei hohen Spannungen. Wo eine solche Ausführungs- turrn ;;
Shielding device on a metallic conductor carrier of an insulator, in particular for high-voltage conductors. The invention relates to a Schirmvorrich device on the metallic conductor carrier of an insulator, especially for high-voltage conductors; and its purpose is to prevent a strong compression of the electric lines of force on the projections of the lead frame and thus electric discharges therefrom.
In high-voltage insulators, in which two conductors of different voltages are separated from one another by an insulator, it is generally known that an electrostatic field is present in which electric lines of force pass through the insulator and the surroundings from one conductor to another. All other things being equal, the lines of force at the points of the insulated conductors are particularly dense -which are closest to each other. The lines of force are compressed in tapered protrusions and tips of the ladder.
The shielding device forming the subject matter of the invention is intended to prevent discharges from the line carrier to parts of the insulator or to an adjacent conductor (which can be the earth), in that at least one rounded, conductive surface is electrically connected to the line carrier, which their convex side to the neighboring head, respectively. facing the insulator, is covered by an insulating mate rial, the electrical strength of which is greater than that of the air, and is in the area of the electrical lines of force that run from one conductor to the other in the vicinity of the conductor carrier,
so that the lines of force are distributed over this conductive surface and caused to take the way from this surface through the insulation that covers it.
In the accompanying drawings, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown.
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal cross section through a guy insulator which is provided with a Schirmvorrich device; Fig. 2 is a view of the end of an isolator showing another embodiment of the screen device, partially in section, Fig. 3 shows a similar embodiment form as in Fig. 2, Fig. 4 shows an embodiment of the invention in conjunction with a Chain isolator partially in section and partially in view, Fig. 5 to 7 show other forms of execution in conjunction with a Ketteniso lator;
FIG. 8 is a cross section of the umbrella device shown in FIG.
The isolator 10, Fig. 1 is a simple rod. All one end of the insulator is a cap 11 finitely seen a support ring 12 provided. which is connected to your insulator by cement 13. The cap 11 is equipped with a number of arines 14, which extend to the opposite end of the insulator and carry a screen 15 made of insulating material.
The screen 15 is bent backwards at 16, a rearwardly extending portion 17 being disfigured, and the surface of the screen within the rearwardly bent portion is covered with a conductive coating 18. The evil pull 18 extends backwards over the screen 15 and is with the arms 14 and the cap 11 by means of a wire 19 in electrical connection. The wire 19 is also used to attach the screen 15 to the arms 14.
As a result, the conductive coating 18 is electrically connected to the line A carried by the isolator and the foremost, curved part of the coating, which is closest to your opposite conductor B, forms the part of which the greatest number of electrostatic Lines of force going out towards the opposite conductor.
These lines of force must pass through the dielectric: material of the screen 15, and since this material has a greater electrical strength than the air, the screen forms an effective protection against discharges in the direction of the lines of force of the largest electric field.
The coating 18 is an extensive rounded surface, the convex side of which is facing the adjacent conductor .B, so that no tip discharge can take place after it. It is sometimes desirable to fill the part between the leading edge of the cap 11 and the insulator 10 with a conductive material 20, whereby the cement 13 is protected by any currents between the cap and the insulator surface.
One end of the insulator is provided with an elongated bore 21 into which a pin 22, which is electrically connected to the cap, projects. The pin 22 can be fixed inside the bore 21 by cement 23, uni so to produce an additional connection between the cap and your insulator.
The eride of the pin 2 \ 3 forms a starting point for the electric force field which, like the coating 18, is surrounded by an insulating material full of greater electrical strength than air. The inner surface of the opening 211 is covered with a metallic coating 24, similar to the coating 18, and this coating extends over the inner rounded part of the opening and forms an electrical connection with the pin 22 there .
The coating can also extend to the outer end of the insulator and establish a finite electrical connection with the cap 11 there.
The opposite end of the isolator can. be provided with just such a device, or it can simply be equipped with a cap 26 and an internal pin 27, similar to your pin 22, as shown.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a number of metallic arms 32 are attached to the line carrier 30. These arms carry the organs 31 for distributing the electrical lines of force. The distribution organs 31 are made of dielectric material and have a bore 33 which is connected to a metallic, outwardly conductive, rounded surface. Coating 34 coated. is the coating from which the lines of force originate. The cover 34 is in electrical communication with your Arin 32.
Since the coating 34 is surrounded by the insulating material of the part 31, any tendency for discharge in the direction of the lines of force emanating from the coating 34 is prevented by the insulating material.
The outer insulation 31 relieves the overload of dangerous discharge currents, as a result of the resistance it offers such currents: it relieves and allows work at high voltages. Where such an execution turrn ;;
is needed, a beetle, raindrop or any other protrusion does not cause arcing from the distribution member 31 as easily as would be the case if the latter were only made of conductive material. This is due to the fact that the insulation limits the discharge currents, which is particularly important for radio isolators where uniform waves are used.
Fig. 3 shows an insulator, similar to that in Fig. 2, with the difference that the Ver distribution organs 31 'have ribs 35 to limit a sliding discharge along the outer surface of the insulation.
In Fig. 4 an application of the inven tion is shown in connection with a chain isolator gate. The insulator 36 and the pin 37 represent the lowest parts of a chain insulator. The charged line 38 is carried by the insulator 36 by means of a clamp 39, which the latter is rotatably connected to the insulator 36 at 40. The clamp 39 has a saddle 41 which has flanges extending downward to provide a circular support surface for the conduit 38. In a pair, the horns 43 protrude upwards and are fastened to the clamp 39 by means of U-bolts 44.
At the upper end of each horn 43 a distribution member for lines of electrical force is attached, which consists of a hollow capsule 45 made of dielectric material. The interior of the capsule is provided with a conductive coating 46. A plug 47 is cemented to your end of the caps sel 45 and has a thread part which engages with your threaded part 48 at the upper end of the horn 43. The coating 46 is electrically connected to the plug 47, so that the line surface in the capsule has the same voltage as the line 38.
The connection between the coating and the horn 43 can also be made by conductive cement or other conductive means.
When a charged line is carried through a chain insulator, it is well known that the voltage drop in the chain is not uniform, but that there is a greater voltage drop in the part of the insulator that is close to the line than in a part of the further away Isolator. This is due to the leakage of electrical lines of force along the isolator chain.
In the embodiment of Fig. 4 it is evident that a force field is present. the surface 46 goes out and as a result of the position of this loading surface the outgoing force field is fed to the chain insulator at points above the lowest element of the insulator, and leakage of lines of force from the lowest element of the force insulator and the line connected to it is reduced. This compensates for the stress distribution in the chain insulator.
The guide surface 46 operates in the same way as the surface 18 of Figure 1 and acts as a screen for the clamp 39 and the metallic parts connected to it, thereby considerably reducing the lines of force emanating from these parts and thus the possibility of crowning - or brush discharge from these metallic parts is also reduced. Heavy discharges from the screen surface 46 are prevented by the strong insulation by means of the dielectric part 43.
Due to the embodiment of the support member for the line 38 projections such as the tips 42 and the ends of the Bol zen 44 are present, which have the tendency of the discharge to earth at high voltage and alternation of the current. In order to prevent such discharges, a hollow part 49 of dielectric material is provided which is suspended from the cap 50 under the clamp 39. The interior of the part 49 has a metallic over train 51, which has a rounded surface against the earth, over the edges of the di-electrical part is erect and in connection with the cap 50, so that the coating 51 has the same voltage, as the line _ 38 owns.
Since the coating 51 is farther from the conduit 38 than the portions of the clip, the lines of force are diverted from the projections of the clip and emanate from the coating 51, thereby reducing the possibility of discharge from the projections of the clip and their connecting parts is reduced. Heavy discharges from your Überzag 51 are prevented by the insulation 49. Practical tests have shown that where the holding parts are protected in the manner described, significantly higher voltages can be used without severe discharge than is the case if the protective screen is missing.
In the embodiment of Fig. 5, Ver distribution organs 5 \? arranged of somewhat different shape. They are brought closer to the chain insulator to facilitate the flow transition after the insulator. The danger of discharge from the support horns 54 is prevented by the outwardly curved shape of the horns and by the flanges 55 on the di-electrical part 5'21.
It has been found that, instead of the difficult embodiments of FIGS. 4 and 5, a considerable reduction in the possibility of discharge is achieved by simple horns 55, as shown in FIG. 6. The ends of the horns are covered by insulator parts 56 which are provided with an inner metallic coating 57.
The parts 56 are simply placed over the ends of the horns 55 so that the metallic coating 57 is in direct contact with the horns. The coating 57 may be omitted under certain conditions, in which. Trap the end of the horns serves the same purpose. In Fig. 7, a distribution member 58 is shown made of dielectric material, the inner surface of which has a metallic train 59 over. The distribution member 58 surrounds the terminal of the line 38 fully come.
An opening 60 is provided in the upper part of the distribution member for the engagement of the isolator and incisions 61 are provided for the line 38. The edges of the distribution member 58 are bent inwardly, as shown at 62 and 65, so that the metallic coating 59 forms a convexly curved surface towards the outside in the direction of the lines of force proceeding therefrom.
It is evident that in this embodiment the entire electric field of the support clamp 39 will go out from the metallic coating 59, which is connected to the conductor, respectively. is in contact with the terminal 39. As a result of the insulation 58, the risk of severe discharge in the direction of the power lines is significantly reduced. The distribution organ 58 hugs the shape of the clamp 39.
