Ventilwasserhahn.
Valve faucet. The subject of the present invention is a valve faucet, the valve spindle of which is sealed by a rubber cap accommodated in the straw housing. According to the invention He rests, the rubber cap with its Bo freely on a support arranged on the lower part of the valve spindle. As a result, the rubber cap has a long service life with a good seal even with high water pressure.
On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the new valve water faucet is shown in section.
a - designates the valve housing with the valve seat b for the elastic closing body c. This is fastened by means of the screw d and the elastic washer e @ a.m underneath the valve spindle f. This also has a groove g on the lower part, in which the rubber cap h sits freely by means of an opening i arranged in its bottom.
The threaded upper part of the spindle f is seated in the sleeve k, which is provided with a corresponding nut thread and which carries a handle Z at the top and rests on the disk 7n.
This again sits on the edge of the rubber cap h and is pressed together with the latter through the closure sleeve n onto a seat o located in the upper part of the tap housing a ; the closure sleeve n also presses the sleeve k onto the disk m.
In the lifting or lowering of the valve spindle f caused by corresponding turning of the handle l and the sleeve k, the rubber carp h can easily follow the movements of the latter due to its loose leadership on the spindle f, so that the risk of breaking the same to a minimum limits and their durability compared to those designs in which the rubber cap is connected to the spindle by clamping,
is extended considerably. The good sealing of the inside of the tap housing and the rubber cap at the top is effected by the washer m. In order to accommodate the rubber cap h on the spindle f, a groove does not necessarily have to be arranged thereon; it is sufficient if a support, for example in the form of an adjustment, is available on the spindle for the purpose of taking on the bottom of the cap h.
In the illustrated embodiment, the support is formed by the upper wall of the groove g.
