These handles are provided with wire leads 51 and plugs 52 , which the latter can be plugged into corresponding sockets of the wire terminals 42 and 43.
The device for reflecting the current strength in the Piimär, # vi, cl "lung consists of one: Se.liuii, dä.rwiel-, lung 53 made of enamelled or otherwise insulated Wire of a somewhat larger diameter than the wire of the primary winding, around which the former is wound in the opposite direction.
The induction current that arises in the secondary winding flows in a direction opposite to that of the excitation current and its generation has a weakening effect on the excitation current.
The more turns of the Wieli: - lung 53 are switched on, the greater the weakening effect. To regulate or change the number of turns in the action 53 a switch is provided which can switch any part of the total number of turns on or off;
The switch is actuated by means of a rotary knob 54 provided on top of the housing, which is carried on the upper end of a pin 55 passing through the housing, the lower end of which is in one on the outer surface of the frame B> 8 mounted and isolated bearings # is rotatable.
The lower end of the pin 55 has an arm 57 (Figs. 6 and 10) which you can see -r the Wiel -, - lung 53 and at the other end carries a leaf spring contact 58 , which come into contact with the Wieling 53 can, with that part of the surface of the winding on wele.her, the leaf spring grinds, is freed from the enamel lining.
The contact 58 (Figs. 6 and 8) forms a soft sole, one of which is E is attached to a metal carrier 59 in the form of a perforated block, which slides in a rod 60 igii,), lying parallel to the winding 53 eordiit, t, the two ends of which rest on the opposite ends of the cradle around heads 61 .
The carrier 59 is provided at the end with a pin 62 , which has a long length in the outer end of the arm 57 . The slot 63 is moved through it and the <itif) ere end of the pin 6: 9 is over a washer 64 located on the arm.
The '#Vieli: Iiin, r 53 is at one end connected to the standard 60 , while the other end is connected to one of the Kö - So-called "dead En (W") attached to each core of the core, with the switched-on part of the action being divided by the rod 60 and the carrier 5 9 < / B> is short-circuited.
If #ilso the contact 58 from the sipIlun (V am does not match, #: the end of the winding 53 after the opposite end of the If the winding 53 is moved, ect, the windings of the winding 53 are switched off one after the other until the current induced therein drops to zero - is reduced.
The knob 54, which regulates the weight, is provided with a pointer 65 , which indicates the movement limits on a scale. 66 on the surface of the housing, white - </ B> before the maximum and minimum limits correspond to the current strength.
The power required for the apparatus is fed to the socket 14 via a line 67 by means of a detachable plug 68, which consists of a metal tube > 68 consists of a hollow, with a removable, ring-shaped cap 70 irtisge t # en e:
The Isohürhalter 69 is mounted, with the outer end of the tube being provided with a -separated Meiallspitze 71 , which is attached to the tube itself by a suitable intermediate disk 72 , a.-Lis fiber material is insulated and has a handle 73 running through the middle of the tube and reaching into the inside of the holder 69 . When the plug 68, 71 is pushed into the plug 14, the pole terminals 74, 75 receive current.
When actuated, the current supplied by a battery 76 - is passed through the Lf-i- line 13 on the one hand, which feeds the core 7 um-, -ebenden Pri, mäiivielzliiii "celeited and from there to the Konfights 1.6 and 17, from where the wire 27 Wilr. 10) the power to the battery .iiriiel # fiilill-,
by pressing the button.sebalter '0, which, -if it is not in use , keeps the circuit interrupted.
The push-button sounder 3) 0, which can easily be seen with the thumb when grasping the apparatus, thus governs the effectiveness of the appiral.
The strength of the current is regulated by (Ii (- #; i.tissere Wieklung 52 which carries a current which, through the magnetic field. , in which the 'Wichlum, See is located, is induced, and the current acts in turn on the IT., main or Bafter current.
If the contactor 57 is brought forward over successive windings 503 , the strength of the current induced therein corresponds in direct proportion to the number of windings included in the current Position of the arm dureliden pointer 65 -, in the head 54 on which Shila 66 is displayed.
The current supplied to electrodes 46 and 47 in the bottom 2, is. placed by the wires 38, 39 in shunt to the main circuit, these wires 38, 39 connecting opposite sides of the vibrator with the wire terminals 42, 43, with which the opposite Opposite poles of these rows of electrodes provided pole terminals 44, 45 automatically come into engagement when the bottom 2 is brought into its position on the housing 1 , and also disengaged when the ground to any Purpose is removed.
The current supplied to the movable electrodes 50 is carried by the conductors 51 , which can be detached with the wire clips 42, -13, through suitable plugs 52 -bundes are.
The mode of operation of the apparatus is easy to explain from the preceding description.
