Abstract

La présente divulgation concerne, entre autres, un procédé de cryoconservation et de décongélation de cellules qui conduit à des cellules décongelées présentant une viabilité cellulaire et une fonctionnalité élevées après décongélation. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne un procédé à grande échelle de cryoconservation de cellules, le procédé consistant à : (a) mettre en contact les cellules avec un milieu de cryoconservation ; (b) refroidir les cellules à -80 °C à une vitesse régulée afin de réduire au minimum l'enthalpie de fusion ; et (c) stocker les cellules en phase vapeur d'azote liquide, ce qui permet de cryoconserver les cellules immunitaires.
