Abstract

La présente invention concerne des matériaux de construction à base de liant minéral comprenant des fibres de verre de silicate thermiquement prétraitées et éventuellement de la silice colloïdale et d'autres additifs, qui présentent une résistance au feu accrue de telle sorte qu'ils possèdent un retrait retardé lorsqu'ils sont soumis à des températures élevées par rapport à un matériau de construction à base de liant minéral présentant des fibres de verre classiques et éventuellement de la silice colloïdale, mais pour le reste de composition identique. Les matériaux de construction à base de liant minéral selon l'invention offrent une résistance améliorée à la rupture, garantissant ainsi que des structures correspondantes conservent leur intégrité pendant des périodes de temps plus longues lorsqu'elles sont soumises au feu. La présente invention concerne également des procédés de production de matériaux de construction à base de liant minéral et l'utilisation de fibres de verre de silicate thermiquement prétraitées et éventuellement de silice colloïdale pour réaliser un retard dans le retrait de matériaux de construction à base de liant minéral, lorsqu'ils sont soumis à des températures élevées.
