Abstract

Selon la présente invention, les compositions aqueuses sont utiles en tant que traitement de passivation avant peinture afin de réduire la corrosion. Les compositions comprennent de l'eau, un sel de chrome trivalent de formule Cr(HxPO4)3, où x vaut 1,5 ou 2, un système polymère ayant une pluralité de groupes fonctionnels carboxyliques, un silane organo-fonctionnel et un acide organopolyphosphonique. Un procédé de traitement d'une surface métallique consiste à mettre en contact la surface avec de telles compositions aqueuses. Les compositions et les procédés offrent des avantages par rapport au prétraitement des métaux par le phosphate de zinc, qui est supposé être la norme dans l'industrie.
