Il est décrit un polymère d’ester, un procédé de préparation associé et une utilisation associée. Le polymère d’ester, selon la présente demande, a une structure telle que représentée par la formule (I) suivante (voir la formule I) : le groupe T représente une chaîne principale du polymère d’ester; les groupes B sont indépendamment sélectionnés parmi O ou S, respectivement; les groupes R représentent indépendamment un groupe hydrocarbylène en C1-10; les groupes A sont indépendamment sélectionnés parmi O, S, ou NR’’, respectivement; les groupes R’ représentent indépendamment un groupe hydrocarbylène en C1-10; les groupes Nb sont indépendamment sélectionnés parmi H ou -R’’’-B’H, respectivement, au moins l’un de deux Nb sur le même atome d’azote étant -RR’’’-B’H; les groupes R’’ sont indépendamment sélectionnés parmi H ou un groupe hydrocarbyle en C1-10, respectivement; les groupes R’’’ représentent indépendamment un groupe hydrocarbylène en C1-10; les groupes B’ sont indépendamment sélectionnés parmi O ou S, respectivement; y représente indépendamment un nombre entier allant de 1 à 6; et m est un nombre entier allant de 1 à 10. Lorsque le polymère d’ester, selon la présente demande, est utilisé en tant qu’agent de dispersion et/ou en tant qu’inhibiteur de polymérisation, une excellente performance de dispersion et d’inhibition de polymérisation est fournie.
