Abstract
Le but de la présente invention est de fournir un substrat destiné à être utilisé dans une suspension aqueuse et ayant un revêtement polymère pour fournir une surface souple et collante. Le revêtement polymère comporte un produit chimique pour rendre la surface hydrophobe de façon à attirer des particules minérales hydrophobes ou hydrophobisées dans la suspension. Le substrat peut prendre la forme d'une bande transporteuse, d'un cordon, d'une maille, d'une turbine, d'un filtre ou d'une surface plate. Le substrat peut également être une mousse à cellules ouvertes. Le revêtement polymère peut être modifié avec des agents collants, des plastifiants, des agents de réticulation, des agents de transfert de chaîne, des agents d'allongement de chaîne, des promoteurs d'adhérence, des copolymères aryle ou alky, des copolymères fluorés et/ou des additifs, des agents hydrophobants tels que l'hexaméthyldisilazane, des particules inorganiques telles que la silice, la silice hydrophobe et/ou la silice hydrophobe fumée, une résine MQ, et/ou d'autres additifs pour contrôler et modifier les propriétés du polymère.
