Abstract
La présente invention concerne un élément de filtre (1) pour un article à fumer (10), l'élément de filtre (1) étant généralement allongé et ayant une extrémité (2) pour raccordement à un élément de tige (11) de matériau à fumer et une extrémité opposée (3) pour insertion dans la bouche d'un utilisateur. L'élément de filtre (1) comprend : un ou plusieurs segments de filtre (4, 5, 6) disposés sur ou agencés le long d'un axe longitudinal (X) de l'élément de filtre, au moins un desdits segments de filtre (4, 5, 6) comprenant un matériau de filtre ; une enveloppe (8) qui entoure et enveloppe lesdits un ou plusieurs segments de filtre (4, 5, 6) ; et une capsule cassable remplie de liquide (7) agencée dans l'un desdits un ou plusieurs segments de filtre (4, 5, 6), la capsule (7) comportant un point de rupture (P) au niveau duquel la capsule (7) est conçue pour se casser ou se rompre lors de l'application d'une force externe (F) pour libérer un liquide (L) contenu dans celle-ci. La capsule (7) est agencée dans ledit segment de filtre (5) avec le point de rupture (P) situé à une première distance (D1) le long de l'axe longitudinal (X) depuis ladite extrémité (2) de l'élément de filtre. L'enveloppe (8) comprend une pluralité de trous ou de perforations (9) à une deuxième distance (D2) depuis ladite extrémité (2) de l'élément de filtre le long de l'axe longitudinal (X), la deuxième distance (D2) étant inférieure à la première distance (D1).
