Abstract

Un conduit vide se dispose dans un bassin de décantation et de stockage des stériles et boues. Une extrémité inférieure du conduit vide est ouverte au débit entrant de résidu fin mûr, tandis quune extrémité supérieure du conduit vide se trouve au-dessus dune surface du bassin de décantation et de stockage des stériles et boues. Le conduit vide contient un appareil de retrait, comme une pompe immergée, servant à enlever le résidu fin mûr quil contient. Un écran à débris se situe à une extrémité inférieure du conduit vide. La taille de lécran à débris permet au résidu fin mûr dentrer dans le conduit vide tout en prévenant lentrée de débris dont la taille excède les dimensions de la plus grande ouverture de lécran.
