Abstract
La présente invention concerne un trépan sur une surface duquel, dans une configuration, se trouvent un ou plusieurs dispositifs tranchants conçus pour pénétrer dans une formation. Ledit trépan comprend au moins un tampon sur la surface, un dispositif d'actionnement conçu pour fournir un fluide sous pression au tampon pour étendre le tampon à partir de la surface, et un dispositif de détente conçu pour drainer le fluide fourni au tampon pour réduire la pression sur le ou les tampons lorsque la force appliquée sur le ou les tampons dépasse une limite sélectionnée.
