WATER DRAINAGE DEVICF, FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] This invention relates to water drainage devices and more particularly to water drainage devices for showers and shower floor elements.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] The invention relates to a water drain device for a sanitary installation, such as a floor -level shower area, comprising a gutter cover, a channel-shaped drainage area with a tapered arranged in the middle of leaving water discharge aperture and a water outlet opening water inlet opening, and one end portion located inside the channel-shaped end portion wherein the transition portion has a water trap system and at least one outlet flow pipe for the water outlet where the trap system comprises a housing having an internal chamber and at least one outer chamber and an immersion end in the housing bell member with the outer chamber is at least partially defined by a housing wall.
[003] EP 2532795 A2 is a water drainage device for a very flat structure comprising a channel-shaped drainage area with built in centrally located trap, whose saddle-shaped cover two bridges in a body of water trap arranged partitions. Each partition is formed by two upwardly tapered wall elements. The partitions of the drain trap divide this body into a central and two outer chambers.
[004] Another water drainage apparatus and a floor-level shower floor element is described in DE 10 2008 046 671 Al. The shower floor element is part of a bottom of damp area, especially the shower and is pre-assembled with a channel-shaped drain body to form a unit, in the channel-shaped drain body from above a trap unit is introduced. The construction of the drainage device and in particular of the trap unit requires a considerable height increase and due to the shaped contour of the neck 4 a considerable distance between the drainage system and a room wall in front of which the shower floor element is to be installed.
[005] The object of the invention is to devise a novel water drainage device for a particular flat region and near-wall structure that deviates from the applicable prior art such as EP
2532795 A2. An additional object of the invention is to provide a water drainage device and near-wall shower floor element for such a water drainage device to develop.
[006] Other aspects and features of the present invention will become apparent to those ordinarily skilled in the art upon review of the following description of specific embodiments of the invention in conjunction with the accompanying figures.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0024] The present invention is directed to water drainage devices and more particularly to water drainage devices for showers and shower floor elements.
[0025] The ensuing description provides exemplary embodiment(s) only, and is not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the disclosure.
Rather, the ensuing description of the exemplary embodiment(s) will provide those skilled in the art with an enabling description for implementing an exemplary embodiment. It being understood that various changes may be made in the function and arrangement of elements without departing from the spirit and scope as set forth in the appended claims.
[0026] This object is achieved by a water flow device of the mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, of the type wherein:
- the bell member is a hollow body comprising an elongated, rectilinear apex region, two elongate side panels and also opposite to the two narrow sides of the hollow body more side walls;
- the inner chamber formed in a top view of a bottom of the housing enclosed by a circumferential first barrier wall and completely excluded from the outer chamber forming the passage area for the discharge nozzle;
- between the inner chamber and the outer chamber, is arranged an intermediate chamber when used the bell element which is entirely, except for in the passage area for drain connection , enclosed in a plan view of the bottom of one formed by the side walls of the second barrier wall so that the chambers are formed by a ring lying around each barrier walls and the housing wall ; and - wherein the outer chamber is separated by the second blocking wall of the central chamber and the medium chamber by the first blocking wall of the inner chamber and the flow direction of the waste water from the outer chamber to the central chamber, from there to the inner chamber and is directed there to the discharge nozzle.
[0027] The barrier wall of the bell element has a recess, so that the bell element can be placed over the interior chamber and extending from the inner chamber the outlet fitting. It is provided that sealingly encloses the recess in the assembled state the outlet flow pipe. This is particularly important for compliance with relevant standards, such as DIN EN
1253/274, and subsequently the building code approval for the drainage device important.
Accordingly, the recess may be surrounded by a groove into which a sealing element is inserted.
Preferably, the recess, and thus the groove is U-shaped. The cover can be locked against floating by clicking or locking means or other securing means.
[0028] The flow- technical considerations have shown that it is particularly advantageous if the outer chamber, a first surface, and the middle chamber has a bottom edge at the height of the barrier wall , a second surface, the area ratio is within a range of 0.5 to 0.8 , preferably between 0 63 and is 0.69 . It has been found that an advantageous locking height corresponding to a distance between the upper edge of the barrier wall and the lower edge, should be at least 38 mm. These measures will help to very flat construction of water drainage device while still allowing sufficient drainage capacity of the overall system.
[0029] It is also particularly advantageous for the ultra-flat design, when the drain pipe the drainage device is within an outline of a base plate of the water outlet device. For this purpose may be provided for receiving the discharge tube on the underside of the base plate a groove-like recess.
[0030] It is also particularly advantageous when the water flow device, except the gutter cover and the bell member, on whose bottom embedded in an elongated through hole of the said base plate and fixed there. The elongated opening of the base plate has dimensions that exceed those of the tray cover slightly, so that it is manufactured by a gap extending around the trough cover. A gap- less design is also possible, if appropriate perforations, such as holes, slits or mesh- shaped structures are placed in the water flow on the tray cover. The channel cover itself may be formed from a lattice or honeycomb structure, for example expanded metal.
[0031] Beneficial for the water drain it is when the subsequent directly to the drainage spigot inner chamber having a bottom, on both sides which has a drain connection -cut the slope or trough- shaped. Here, the bottom of the inner chamber can be lifted from the remaining bottom of the housing.
[0032] The passage of the internal compartment to the outlet stub can also be funnel-shaped.
[0033] To the outlet flow pipe, a circular or oval-shaped flow tube or a square discharge pipe can be connected. Preferably, the outlet flow pipe is a rectangular cross-section, which can be implemented easily with the square drain pipe connection.
[0034] The water drainage apparatus may comprise a channel module with the water outlet opening and a flow module with a water inlet opening.
[0035] The water drainage device includes an expiration module that contains the trap system , comprising the above mentioned case with the chambers and the bell member, [0036] The water outlet opening of the channel module is rectangular or oval, [0037] The water inlet opening of the trap system has for each water tap opening a compatible contour.
[0038] Between the channel module and the flow module, a connection is provided, which may be an adhesive, click, snap or screw connection.
[0039] The channel module and the outlet module may comprise contact surfaces and structural elements, said structural elements are designed so that they form a labyrinth seal according to the preparation of the compound.
[0040] It is not excluded that the channel module with the flow module, the exception of the bell element in a piece of material, such as thermoplastic plastics manufactured.
[0041] However, it is to achieve a modular design that allows both the connection of a conventional standard process with a cylindrical or round drain pan as well as the connection and a super-flat sequence.
[0042] For this purpose, the water drainage system may be equipped with at least one adapter for releasable connection to the channel module and different trap systems, In this case the adapter is waterproof connected with both the channel module and with the water inlet opening of the respective end module.
[0043] Terms such as "above "," upper", "lower", "lower", etc. refer to the built-in water drainage device within a base plate of a shower floor element as shown in the drawing.
[0044] In Figure 1 a channel module 3 is shown, comprising a channel-shaped drainage area 8 and a centrally located the transition region 9 with a rectangular water outflow opening 5, within the outlet portion 8. This is limited by a peripheral, upwardly projecting collar 28 at the end portion 8 is mirror-symmetric with respect to the water outlet opening 5 and is so ordered and provides a rectangular water inlet opening 4 with a slope 62.
[0045] The channel module 3 shown in Figure 1 is releasably connected to a trap system 11, and provides a modular water flow to the water outlet device 1 and then the trap system 11 to which a drain port 14 is connected. The same water outlet device 1, but with channel cover 6 is depicted in Figures 4 and 6 [0046] However, the drainage system may be integrated material in the channel module 3, i.e. a non-detachable composite form, when both parts are produced, for example in a piece of material from thermoplastic. Such an embodiment is shown in Figure 3.
[0047] The modular construction of the drainage device allows a user to connect to the channel module 3 to fuller - flow system in the form of a known standard sequence, as shown in Figures 5 and 7.
[00481 The modular construction is also shown in Figures 6 and 7 as well as in Figures 8 and 9. According to the Figures 6 and 8, the water discharge device 1, the said channel module 3 and a module 10 having a water flow inlet 12 , the outlet module 10, the system 11 includes trap . Accordingly, in Figures 7 and 9 completed formed water outlet device 1 ' with a water inlet 12 having flow module 10 ' for a standard sequence is provided , wherein the flow module 10' includes the stench trap system 11'. The flow module 10' runs into a drain port 14'.
[0049] As is shown in Figures 8 and 9, the end modules 10; 10 'are shown in Figure 1 to a water outlet opening 5 compatible rectangular contour 15 , or correspondingly 15' .
Furthermore, in Figure 9, an adapter 30 can be seen, with which a releasable connection with the channel module 3 and the water seal system 11 or 11 '(in Figure 9 is a round drain pan of the standard sequence shown) can be realized. The adapter 30 is connected to both the channel module 3 and to the water inlet 12; 12 'of the flow module 10; 10' with a water-tight connection.
[0050] As shown in Figures 10 and 21, between the channel module 3 and the flow module a connection 20 is provided, which through at contact surfaces 21; 22 of flow module 10 and module of the sequence introduced structural elements 23; 24 is formed.
After the preparation of the compound 20, a labyrinth seal 25 is formed. Figure 21 also shows the channel cover 6, which is a tread surface 64 of base plate 51 installed on a tile 59.

[0051] As shown in Figures 17 and 18 show the channel cover 6 of the base plate 51 has a built-in water drainage device I can be adapted to the corresponding tile thickness. In Figure 17, there is depicted a structure of 6 mm height and in Figure 18 a structure of 20 mm height.
The water drainage device 1 has a height adjustment device, not shown.
[0052] Furthermore, the Figures 6, 17 and 18 show the design already shown in Figure 1, upstanding collar 28 of the channel module 3, a horizontal strip-shaped wall 16 is adjoined by a downward pointing L leg 17. The horizontal wall 16 has a bearing surface 26 and the collar 28 in accordance with a bearing surface 26 which fasten with which the channel module 3 at the bottom U of the base plate 51 in the region of which recess 52 preferably can stick together . Here, the collar 28 on dimensions which do not exceed that of the recess 52 so that in the assembled state the collar 28 projecting into the recess 52 and the base plate Si rests on the horizontal supporting surface 26 of the wall 16 . The connection of the channel module 3 to the base plate 51 is water - tight.
[0053] The trap system 11 of Figure 21 and in particular Figures 19, 20 and 22 can be seen.
The water seal system 11 includes a housing 60 in the form of a trough with a bottom 31 (see Figures 21 and 22), which is divided into an inner chamber 34 and outer chamber 32. In addition, the odor trap system 11 includes a housing 60 in the plunging, open to the bottom (port 40) bell member 39, which is shown in its simplest embodiment detailed in Figure 23.
The outer chamber 32 is delimited by a housing wall 61 (Figure 19).
100541 In Figure 23, the bell member 39 has an elongated rectilinear apex region 48 , a pair of elongated side walls 49; 50 and two shorter sidewalls 55 , 56 , wherein on one of the elongated side walls ( 49) has a U-shaped recess 42 is profiled with a groove 44 incorporated . Into the groove 44 a sealing element 45 is inserted. In the assembled condition of the drain pipe 14 is sealingly enclosed by the recess 42. The bell element 39 is made in the present case made of plastic.
[0055] The used bell member 39 is formed, an additional middle chamber 33 as shown in Figures 19 and 20 show, the inner chamber 34 is formed in plain view of the bottom 31 by a circumferential first blocking wall 36 and completely out of the central chamber 33, and except passage area 57 to the outlet connection 14 is enclosed.
[0056] The intermediate chamber 33 is also - in plain view of the floor 31 ¨
formed completely through the side walls 49; 50; 55, 56, the second barrier wall 35 except passage area 57 enclosed. As a new type of chamber arrangement in which the chambers 34, 33, 32 is formed by a ring located around each barrier walls 36, 35 and the housing wall 61.
[0057] As indicated in Figure 19 by dashed line, the passage portion 57 may be funnel-shaped.
[0058] According to Figure 22, the inner chamber 34 has a floor 58 on which lifting from the rest of the base 31 of the housing 60. The bottom 58 of the inner chamber 34 has a -in drain pipe 14 on both sides tapered gradient 46.
[0059] The outer chamber 32 has the height of a lower edge 43 of the barrier wall 35 has a first area Al and the intermediate chamber 33, a second area A2 (see Figure 20), wherein the area ratio of Al to A2 with respect to space-optimized design in the present case is 0.66.
[0060] The water discharge device 1 shown schematically in Figures 12 and 16 includes the channel module 3 with channel cover 6, the trap system is not shown in Figure 11, the drain port 14, and a square outlet flow pipe 47 which is connected to a further drainage pipe of the domestic waste water installation using an adapter piece 65 . The four-sided drain pipe 47 is guided within the base plate 51 on its underside U milled, recess 53, the latter of which opens into a base plate 51 fully pervading recess 54 (see Figure 11). The discharge pipe 47 has, starting from the outlet chute 14 to a gradient of about 0.5%.
[0061] Figures 13, 14 and 15 show a floor-level shower element 2 consisting of the base plate 51 and the built in the base plate 51.
