Abstract

Un séparateur de billots possède un premier segment et un second segment supportés entre les mécanismes à rouleaux qui permettent aux premier et second segments deffectuer un mouvement alternatif vers le haut et vers le bas. Chaque segment possède une pluralité détapes. Des éléments structuraux dun segment sétendent entre les étapes de lautre segment. Certains séparateurs de billots possèdent des première et seconde étapes qui peuvent être actionnées indépendamment. Une première étape prend des billots dune pile de billots et livre les billots à une seconde étape qui sépare les billots et les achemine vers une sortie. Une zone dentreposage de billots peut être fournie entre les première et seconde étapes. La première étape peut être effectuée à une vitesse de cycle plus élevée que celle de la seconde étape. La seconde étape peut être conçue pour un fonctionnement rapide et une bonne séparation de la gamme de diamètres de billots. Des modes de réalisation des première et seconde étapes peuvent être utilisés dans des applications autonomes et/ou en association avec dautres dispositifs délévation et/ou de séparation des billots.
