Abstract

Un produit capable de contrôler les odeurs émanant de matières organiques et une méthode de fabrication du produit sont décrits. Le produit comprend un adjuvant de thermoplastique moulable et de bactéries dormantes bénignes en forme sporulée, ladjuvant étant formé en mélangeant les bactéries dormantes bénignes dans le thermoplastique moulable lorsque celui-ci est fondu, et en moulant ladjuvant dans le produit moulé. Les bactéries sont dispersées dans le produit moulé, y compris enfoncées dans le corps du produit moulé et présentes à la surface dudit produit. Les bactéries présentes à la surface du produit moulé peuvent être activées à lexposition de la surface du produit moulé aux matières organiques et elles digèrent ces matières organiques pour contrôler la production dodeurs nuisibles. Labrasion de la surface du produit moulé expose des bactéries fraîches enfoncées dans le corps de la surface pour un contrôle des odeurs supplémentaire.
