Abstract

Un séparateur et un procédé servent à séparer un flux de matières hétérogène en un liquide et un matériau solide. Le séparateur comprend un boîtier dans lequel le flux de matière peut être recueilli et qui présente une entrée servant à recevoir le flux de matière et une sortie servant à transporter le flux de matière. Le séparateur comprend également un écran qui pivote relativement au boîtier. L'écran présente des sections perforées ayant une pluralité de perforations qui permettent le passage du liquide. Lécran permet l'accumulation du flux de matière, qui monte à un niveau correspondant à une hauteur du flux de matière. À cette hauteur de flux de matière, une pression de filtrage agit contre les sections perforées de sorte à compacter le matériau solide contre les perforations pendant que le liquide les traverse. Un module de succion aspire le matériau solide compacté à partir des perforations et se trouve à une hauteur plus élevée que la hauteur du flux de matière. Un régulateur de niveau dalimentation régule le niveau de l'alimentation à lintérieur du filtre.
