Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de nettoyage de mousse bitumineuse en mélangeant une quantité suffisante de naphta à la mousse bitumineuse pour obtenir un rapport naphta-bitume de 4,0 (poids/poids) à environ 10,0 (poids/poids) et en séparant substantiellement le bitume dilué sec de l'eau et des solides. Est également présenté un procédé de nettoyage de mousse bitumineuse comportant le mélange d'une quantité suffisante de naphta à la mousse bitumineuse pour obtenir un rapport naphta-bitume égal ou supérieur à 1,8 (poids/poids) et en séparant le bitume brut fongible de l'eau et des solides.
