Abstract

L'invention concerne une cuve de réacteur de gazéification au plasma comprenant une partie supérieure pourvue d'une paroi conique s'étendant vers le haut, d'une partie inférieure contenant un lit carboné dans lequel est injecté du plasma par des torches à plasma, à un toit de cuve. Cette cuve de réacteur est conçue pour améliorer les caractéristiques d'écoulement gazeux et de temps de rétention de matières solides permettant d'obtenir des réactions et un rendement de produits de réaction utiles. Dans certains cas, la paroi conique est combinée à d'autres éléments, tels qu'au moins un orifice d'alimentation placé de sorte à assurer une distribution plus uniforme, notamment un orifice d'alimentation pourvu d'un mécanisme d'alimentation de distribution. Dans certains exemples, le toit de la cuve comporte des orifices de sortie verticaux pourvus d'éléments pénétrant dans le volume intérieur du réacteur à proximité de la paroi conique de la partie supérieure. La configuration des orifices de sortie pourvus d'éléments pénétrants et la configuration des orifice d'alimentation permettant une distribution plus uniforme de matière d'alimentation peuvent également être appliquées à des cuves de réacteur présentant d'autres caractéristiques géométriques.
