Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation de forage de roche (1) équipée d'une machine de forage de roche (6) comprenant un dispositif d'impact (4), un dispositif d'alimentation (9) et un outil (7) pourvu d'un trépan de forage (8) à l'extrémité de celui-ci pour casser la roche. Le dispositif d'impact est conçu de manière à appliquer une onde de contrainte à l'outil et à partir de celui-ci à la roche à forer. Pendant le forage, au moins une partie de l'onde de contrainte de compression (si) appliquée à l'outil est renvoyée sous la forme d'une onde de contrainte (sr) de la roche à l'outil. Le procédé comprend la détermination d'une quantité de mouvement (Pr) de l'onde de contrainte (sr) qui est renvoyée de la roche à l'outil et le réglage du fonctionnement du dispositif d'impact et/ou de celui du dispositif d'alimentation sur la base de la quantité de mouvement.
