Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système de production d'aluminium, comprenant une cuve cathodique (1), des éléments anodiques (2), une source électrique pour la production d'un courant continu entre la cuve cathodique (1) et les éléments anodiques (2), en vue de l'extraction de l'aluminium fondu (3) contenu dans un bain (4), et un module (6) destiné à briser une croûte (5) se formant pendant la production au niveau des éléments anodiques (2), lequel module comprend un burin (9) qui est actionné par un vérin pneumatique (7), pourvu d'un capteur (12) destiné à détecter la course d'une tige de piston (8) du vérin (7), et relié électriquement à un connecteur d'une unité électronique (11), un autre connecteur de l'unité électronique (11) étant relié à la cuve cathodique (1), pour la production d'un courant alternatif entre le burin (9) et la cuve cathodique (1) et la mesure du potentiel et/ou du courant alternatif passant entre le burin et la cuve. Selon l'invention, le burin (9) présente, dans sa zone inférieure, des éléments destinés à former une électrode et des éléments de connexion électroniques destinés à connecter l'électrode au connecteur de l'unité électronique (11).
