Abstract

Deux ou plus dispositifs du garde-corps si présent peuvent être jointes par des pièces de bois afin de constituer un garde-corps continu sur le lieu de travail.

Les garde-corps disponible sur le marché destiné à l'industrie de la construction résidentielle répondent rarement aux besoins des constructeurs et travailleurs. Une grande partie des garde-corps sont fais de une partie continue qui est fixée au flanc du mur extérieur ce qui n'offre pas l'espace nécessaire à la hauteur du plancher pour permettre la montée des murs de la position horizontale lors de leur confection à la verticale lorsque le mur est terminée. Ce défaut force les travailleurs à
retirer le dispositif garde-corps pour permettre la montée des murs et de se munir de harnais de sécurité se faisant. D'autre part plusieurs garde-corps disponible ou breveté
sont formés de plusieurs morceaux ou pièces ce qui complique le transport du dispositif ainsi que l'assemblage du garde-corps.

Les inventeurs ont mis au point un garde-corps plus simple qui comprenait un espace à la hauteur du plancher pourrait remédier à ces problèmes.
