Abstract

L'invention porte sur une colonne de production équipée de fibres optiques et sur des procédés de fabrication et d'utilisation de cette dernière. La colonne de production équipée de fibres optiques de l'invention renferme un tube à fibres optiques comprenant au moins une fibre optique disposée à l'intérieur d'une conduite, la conduite étant généralement réalisée dans un métal métallique compatible avec les environnements des puits de forage. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'une colonne de production équipée de fibres optiques, selon lequel on pompe un liquide dans un élément tubulaire et on déploie un tube à fibres optiques dans ledit élément tubulaire en le propulsant dans le flux du liquide pompé. L'invention porte également sur un procédé qui permet de communiquer dans un puits de forage en utilisant un tube à fibres optiques disposé à l'intérieur d'un élément tubulaire de puits de forage. Dans certains modes de réalisation, ce mode de communication peut être combiné à un système de communication sans fil à la surface. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'élément tubulaire peut être un tube enroulé et le tube à fibres optiques peut être déployé dans le tube enroulé tandis que le tube est enroulé sur une bobine ou qu'il est déployé dans un puits de forage.
