Abstract

La présente invention concerne une molécule d'adhésion cellulaire (CAM), désignée en tant que récepteur de F11 (F11R), qui fait partie de la superfamille de l'immunoglobuline localisée à la surface des plaquettes humaines, et a pour rôle de promouvoir l'agrégation des plaquettes, la sécrétion, l'étalement des plaquettes et l'adhésion cellulaire. L'invention a également pour objet de l'ADNc de F11R cloné, de l'ADNc de F11R pleine longueur et des séquences d'acides aminés, ainsi que des antagonistes de F11R et des procédés pour prévenir et traiter la thrombose, l'infarctus du myocarde, l'accident vasculaire cérébral et autres troubles cliniques liés à la formation de thrombus.
