Abstract

La présente divulgation concerne des modes de réalisation d'un ensemble roue amélioré pour les chenilles d'un véhicule tous terrains qui empêche l'accumulation de neige, de glace et/ou d'autres matières entre les chenilles et l'ensemble roue. Dans un mode de mise en ouvre, une roue de guidage améliorée pour chenilles est dotée d'un moyeu rotatif et d'au moins deux roues de guidage axialement espacées et fixées sur le moyeu qui engagent la surface interne d'une chenille. Un manchon flexible et/ou déformable couvrant la surface externe du moyeu est capable de se déformer sous une pression externe qui lui est appliquée par contact avec la neige et/ou la glace lorsque le véhicule roule. La déformation du manchon est efficace pour empêcher la neige et/ou la glace d'adhérer à sa surface externe. Ainsi, le désengagement de la chenille des roues de guidage causé par l'accumulation de glace et/ou de neige peut être évité.
