Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de mobilier modulaire utilisant un bloc de base. Le bloc de base, ou cellule, comprend un premier et un seconde panneau d'extrémité et au moins une barre de support horizontale. L'assemblage d'une pluralité de cellules empilées et/ou disposées côte à côte permet de former une structure pouvant être reconfigurée un nombre de fois illimité. Les cellules servent à la fois d'espace de rangement et de cloisons de séparation entre les espaces adjacents, ce qui permet de réduire le nombre de matières premières utilisées et de gagner de la surface utile. Les cellules offrent des chemins de roulement servant à occulter les câbles électriques et les câbles de transfert de données, et sont conçues pour supporter des surfaces de travail et pour fixer des panneaux verticaux. Les cellules sont également conçues pour recevoir divers éléments de rangement, tels que des tiroirs, pouvant être insérés par l'avant ou par l'arrière de chaque cellule. Les cellules sont également conçues pour recevoir des carreaux destinés à recouvrir les côtés ouverts de chaque cellule et/ou à recouvrir les panneaux d'extrémité de chaque cellule. Les carreaux peuvent présenter des surfaces d'aspect et d'utilité divers. Le système peut être équipé d'une fondation destinée à augmenter la rigidité et la solidité d'une cellule ou d'un ensemble de cellules.
