Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de signaux sonores destiné à produire des stimuli électriques pour un réseau d'électrodes de prothèse auditive comprenant une pluralité d'électrodes. Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant: à distribuer (10) une ou plusieurs représentations filtrées (voir figure) d'un signal audio entrant; et à produire (11) une série de variations à partir de chaque représentation filtrée de signal afin de commander directement la stimulation des électrodes. Chaque variation présente une position temporale fondée sur un instant auquel la représentation filtrée de signal dépasse un seuil prédéterminé (?;0) dans un sens positif.
