Abstract

Un dispositif de communication sans fil (WCD) interagit avec un système de communications à accès multiple par répartition de code (ARMC). Le WCD fonctionne en mode repos dans lequel les transitions WCD passent d'un état de veille afin de conserver une puissance à un état éveillé afin de recevoir au moins un signal de téléappel. Ledit WCD tente de réacquérir un premier signal pilote associé à un premier signal de téléappel qui à été antérieurement démodulé, et un second signal pilote qui a été antérieurement localisé. Ce WCD exécute un transfert du premier signal de téléappel vers un second signal de téléappel associé au second signal pilote lorsque la tentative de réacquisition du second signal pilote est réussie.
