Abstract
L'invention concerne des méthodes permettant de contrôler, de façon non invasive, des caractéristiques physiologiques du sang d'un patient. Pour déterminer la concentration des constituants sanguins, il suffit de comparer l'absorbance du rayonnement avec différents paramètres, tels que la longueur du trajet optique et la pression sanguine. Pour faire varier la pression, il suffit de modifier la hauteur des sondes par rapport au coeur du patient. Pour déterminer le pH sanguin, il suffit de comparer l'absorbance du sang avec différentes longueurs d'ondes. Ces méthodes permettent également de déterminer avec précision la température du sang et, par conséquent, la température centrale du patient. Les méthodes de l'invention permettent également de déterminer, de façon non invasive, des caractéristiques du débit cardiaque et de la pression sanguine.
