Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble de luminaire (10) utilisant une source lumineuse à décharge (HID) à haute intensité (100), non blindée, à double extrémité. Selon un aspect de l'invention, l'ensemble (10) comprend une monture (22) de source lumineuse adaptée pour être montée et retirée manuellement, sans l'aide d'outils, de la source HID (100). La monture (22) de la source peut éventuellement comprendre une structure (106L et R, 134L et R) destinée à positionner automatiquement la source (100) suivant une orientation désirée. Selon un autre aspect de l'invention,, l'ensemble (10) comprend une connexion (104L et R, 304L et R, 306L et R) adaptée pour connecter manuellement, sans l'aide d'outils, la source (100) au réseau ; la connexion (104L et R, 304L et R, 306L et R) peut être configurée, d'une part, de manière à ne présenter aucune surface électroconductrice directement exposée, ou accessible, aux doigts d'une personne et, d'autre part, de manière à être positionnée relativement à distance de la source lumineuse (100). Selon un autre aspect de l'invention, l'ensemble (10) peut comprendre un circuit d'amorçage de la source (100), suffisamment à distance d'un circuit ballast de la source (100), mais rapprochée de cette source (100).
