Abstract

Un objectif de la présente invention est de rendre la construction d'un pat io extérieur, simple et accessible à une plus grande majorité de personnes n'ayant pas d'habileté particulière en construction. Claims

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

In the following description, the same reference numbers are given to similar characteristics shown in the drawings and to avoid to weigh down drawings some elements are not indicated in the figures if they have already summer identified in the previous figures.

As illustrated in Figure 1, a system for assembling treads patio according the present invention can be used to build a staircase (1) giving access to a patio (2) of the type comprising a platform (4) supported in height by vertical posts (6).

Referring also to Figures 2 and 3, the system (10) includes two legs vertical (12) having an adjustable height. Each of these legs (12) comprises a base (14) to rest on the ground and an upper end (16) on which just sit the platform (4) of the patio.

The system further includes a stringer support (18), which can be seen clearly at figures 7g), 7h), 7i) and in Figures 4a) to 4f), associated with each of the legs (12). The tongue (40) is also designed to attach to the segment horizontal (36) of a stringer (30) adjacent upward when the stringer is used to support a subsequent step, as shown in Figure 7e).

Finally, also referring to Figures 6a) to 6c), the system includes of the stringer reinforcements (42) for structurally connecting two adjacent stringers (18) of the structure, each of the reinforcements (42) consisting of a bar connecting the corners (38) from each of these two adjacent stringers.

Figures 7a) to 7j) illustrate how easy it is to build the staircase of a patio using a system according to the present invention. We see in effect that no particular skill in cabinetmaking is required.

Although a preferred embodiment of the invention has been described in detail above and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, the invention is not limited to this alone fashion of realization and several changes and modifications can be made through a person skilled in the art without departing from the scope or the spirit of the invention.
