Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif de pressage ayant une ligne de contact étendue, conçu pour presser une bande continue de papier ou de carton. Ledit dispositif de pressage comporte un sabot de pressage, un élément de renfort, un support et une pluralité de cylindres de chargement ayant leur axe principal disposé longitudinalement. Le sabot de pressage peut être déplacé entre différentes positions. Un élément d'arrêt est disposé en aval du sabot de pressage de manière à être déplacé entre différentes positions d'arrêt et à être fixé au niveau desdites positions dans le sens machine. Certains au moins des cylindres de chargement ou le support comportent des éléments disposés de manière excentrique par rapport à l'un ou à plusieurs des axes principaux. La position excentrique et la position d'arrêt permettent de commander le positionnement du sabot de pressage lors du pressage, et par conséquent la courbe de pression.
