Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un nécessaire pour produire une cape cervicale in situ, c'est-à-dire à l'intérieur du corps de la patiente, s'adaptant pratiquement complètement à la forme du col de l'utérus de la patiente, ce qui permet de laisser la cape en place sur une durée prolongée. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes : mise en place d'un élément bordure (10) s'ajustant exactement autour de l'exocol (38) de la patiente, montage d'un élément coque (126) présentant une ouverture sur l'élément bordure (10) de sorte que l'élément bordure (10), l'élément coque (126) et l'exocol (38) définissent une cavité, puis injection d'une matière durcissante (142) par l'ouverture afin de remplir pratiquement la cavité. Lorsque la matière durcissante (142) a durci, on retire l'assemblage dans sa totalité du corps de la patiente et on retire la coque (126) de la matière durcie (142).
