Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif automatique, permettant de traiter rapidement des échantillons de la taille du sous-microlitre, par réactions chimiques ou enzymatiques qui impliquent une manipulation de liquide, une ou plusieurs étapes d'incubation à température régulée (notamment le thermocyclage), et une étape de purification basée sur la discrimination de taille moléculaire. On compte, notamment, parmi les applications exemplaires, la réaction en chaîne de la polymérase (PCR), des applications de séquençage d'ADN, la ligation d'oligonucléotides, la ligation répétitive d'oligonucléotides (LCR), l'extension unique de nucléotides, le traitement par un exonucléase, et des dosages d'hybridation d'oligonucléotides.
