Description
I Acoustic vibration transmission system for the bass anal frequencies ~
a row of seats in a cinema, multiple, rties.
The purpose of this system is to transmit the accumulated vibrations of low frequencies of the soundtrack of a film with the structure of the seats of a room of ~. Each system joined simultaneous ~ nt from one to several seats. The auditwrs sitting on seats feel the vibrations the soundtrack of the rope, this addition of vibrations adds third item at Listening to movies: In addition to seeing the image and sounding out, it feels physically the bass frequencies of the soundtrack of the film.
The system is fitted with a low frequency transducer (1); mounted in a pregnant acoustic (2), connected to an audio amplifier and the latter connected to the bass channel output frequencies of the film soundtrack playback system. The inte acoustic (2) is provided from one to several openings, in which a chu several are connected pipes (3), of lengths and sizes may vary. These pipes are made ~ the materials conductive, such copper or other metals, or different materials in which sound displacement is tall. These pipes of different lengths run along the rear of the seats (4) of the room cW éxna and are fixed to the structure of these.
Note 1: One pipe per seat, if more than one seat is connected to the same pipe, vibration intensity decrease.
Note 2: Ideally the hose will be securely attached to the bottom of the seat dose.
Note 3: Ideally the hose will be large enough to withstand impact caused by feet listeners, and small enough that we can cormec ~ er several pipes to the same acoustic speaker. The recommended diameters are from '/ i inch to 1 inch, the materials recommended are copper and other metals, for their speed grade of sound transmission and their great rigidity.
Note 4: The pipe should not be bent, it may wiggle slightly, but a fold will reduce greatly the quality of vibration transmission. If you have to do a bend, a joint of connection can be made using a copper sphere or ares materials in which sound traveling at high speed, in this sphere we made 'rtures to connect them pipes. This type of sphere can also be used as a conna tor to increase the number of pipes on the same output, without greatly reducing the intensity of the vibrations.
Nute 5: The openings made in the acoustic enclosures to receive the pipes should be as close as possible to the outside dimension of the pipe, so that that there is no space between the opening and the pipe. A well ~ pressed compression seal can be used to tighten the contact ~ ttre the pipe and the opening in the enclosure acoustics.
Note 6: The ideal acoustic enclosure is cylindrical, at least 10 inches in diameter, and less than 24 inches in length, allowing seniors to be able to locate lx ~
behind a seat conventional generally used in cinemas, without cluttering the passage and the space reserved for listeners. I
