Abstract

There is disclosed a new concept of wind turbine comprising improved capabilities for the utilisation of the maximum energy from the wind in all possible speeds of wind. It includes a new and improved air intake module, a performance oriented rotor system, an improved wind deflection unit and an electromechanical orientation system. This new design also controls the effect of overflow in case of wind speeds when other wind turbines have to be shut down. The new design is aimed at supplying the maximum of energy for multiple means of conversion to power.

Claims (5)

1. ~A wind turbine comprising:
an air intake unit of an arcuate shape used to capture the incoming wind and to direct it in a downward or upward direction from its source;
at least one row of wind receptacles having a parabolical body, said bodies having an inlet, a generally cross section of a parabolic shape and an outlet;
the interior of said body being arcuate and oriented in a fashion to force the wind to apply pressure on the entire surface of said body;
a reflection panel preventing the incoming wind to conflict with the ejected air from the parabolical bodies; and an electromechanical unit used to direct the wind turbine in the best possible orientation facing the incoming wind.
2. ~The parabolical bodies as set forth in claim 1, wherein each said body comprises a hollow body.
3. ~The parabolical bodies as set forth in claim 2, wherein several bodies are arranged in a partially nested way.
4. ~The parabolical bodies as set forth in claim 3, wherein each of said bodies is partially nested with the outlet of the preceding body.
5. ~The parabolical bodies as set forth in claim 4, wherein each of said bodies is secured on an inclined circular bracing means.
