Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil (11) utilisé pour décorer un objet (O), tel qu'un récipient, avec une image à transfert thermique. Lors de l'utilisation, un convoyeur d'alimentation (27) amène l'objet (O) dans la tourelle (13). Cette tourelle (13) avance l'objet (O) par rotation jusqu'au poste de transfert (21) où le système de transfert d'images (19) transfère l'image sur l'objet (O). Après l'achèvement de la décoration de l'objet (O), la tourelle (13) avance par rotation l'objet à image (OL) jusqu'au poste de post-traitement (25). Dans ce poste de post-traitement (25), l'objet à image (OL) est gonflé d'air et le dispositif de chauffage à contact (23) est déplacé latéralement dans un contact sélectif avec l'objet à image (OL). A la fin du post-traitement de l'objet à image (OL), la tourelle (13) avance cet objet (OL) par rotation jusqu'à un convoyeur d'alimentation qui emmène l'objet (OL) loin de la tourelle (13).
