Abstract
L'invention concerne une antenne de substrat (400) comprenant un ou plusieurs tracés conducteurs (402) disposés sur un substrat diélectrique (404) à épaisseur prédéterminée. On sélectionne les dimensions appropriées des longueurs et des largeurs des tracés, sur la base de la longueur d'onde concernée, des éléments de connexion et de l'espace attribué. Le substrat de support (404) est monté en décalage par rapport à un plan de masse (502) auquel il est généralement perpendiculaire, le plan de masse étant associé au dispositif avec lequel l'antenne est utilisé. Le tracé est électriquement connecté à une plage de connexion conductrice (408) à une extrémité. Une source de signaux (410) pour l'antenne est couplée à la plage de connexion conductrice (408). L'antenne de substrat fait appel à une structure très mince et compacte pour posséder une largeur de bande appropriée. La compacité de l'antenne et une plus grande variété de formes utiles permettent d'utiliser l'antenne de substrat de manière très efficace comme antenne intérieure de dispositifs sans fil.
