Abstract

A short pitch tooth chain (80) includes a first link (98) having a first aperture (122) spaced from a second aperture (124) by a second distance (Cp), a second link (96) having a first toe (108) spaced apart from a second toe (110) by a first distance (Tp), the second link having a third aperture (112) and being connected to the first link by a first pin (104) extending through the first and third apertures, and a third link (100) having a fourth aperture (128) and being connected to the first link by a second pin extending through the second and fourth apertures.
